About this property

Sitting in two acres of grounds, the Coach House is a unique two-storey character property located in the peaceful hamlet of Llangybi, Gwynedd, making it an ideal base for a romantic getaway exploring the beauty of North Wales. With its blend of character features and tasteful contemporary interior filled with light, guests will feel at home from the moment they arrive. Ample off-road parking ensures a hassle-free transition into your new home.

Step into the open-plan kitchen and living space, where you can enjoy views of pristine meadows and the glistening river of Afon Wen. The kitchen offers plenty of space to prepare meals together, while the dining table is perfect for bonding over a glass of wine with the radio playing softly in the background. On warmer evenings, let the designated chef take charge of the barbecue and enjoy al fresco dining while soaking in the stunning scenery at dusk, accompanied by occasional birdsong.

Afterwards, keep your feet toasty by the woodburning stove and curl up on the sofa, choosing between your favourite show on the Smart TV or a nostalgic DVD. A beautifully presented double room with A-frame beams and an en-suite awaits for a restful night’s sleep, followed by a refreshing rinse in the walk-in shower.

Facing south, the property is perfectly positioned to catch the morning light, offering continued breathtaking views. If you can tear yourself away from this delightful stay, Criccieth is just a short drive away, offering an abundance of cafes and restaurants to suit every palate, as well as independent shops for souvenirs. Criccieth is also home to a beach where sea lovers can cool down with a dip or swim, all while enjoying views of Criccieth Castle.

Don’t miss Porthmadog, home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a true gem for photographers and rail enthusiasts, boasting stunning scenery.

Portmeirion offers an eclectic blend of Italianate architecture and vibrant colours, with unique walking trails such as a coastal walk to the lighthouse or a forest path.

For the adventurous, Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is nearby, offering endless countryside and mountains to explore.

Golf enthusiasts will find several courses in the area to enjoy during the day. In the evenings, take advantage of the numerous Dark Skies locations to marvel at the star-filled skies, free from light pollution.

The Coach House is ready to welcome you and your loved one, promising unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. We felt very comfortable in her coach house. It was very cozy and quiet. The wood stove heats very well. The internet is very fast. The huge garden contributed to the peaceful atmosphere.

Had everything you need for a stay. Great mix of quality new and character furniture and fittings. Loved having a whole wall of glass which made the downstairs very light. Great welcome tea tray
