Guests say

White Cottage Annexe in Tenby is praised for its proximity to the town and beach, modern furnishings, and peaceful setting. Guests appreciate the well-equipped accommodation and thoughtful touches like welcome flowers and wine. Some concerns over comfort and maintenance are noted, yet the charm and location often outweigh these.

Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with several guests finding the property clean, while others reported issues such as mould, grubby shower screens, and a musty smell. The presence of a strong odour and unclean aspects in some reviews slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly regarded, being a short walk from Tenby's centre and beach. The convenience and peacefulness of the location contribute to a high score, despite minor navigation issues upon arrival.

Comfort receives mixed reviews, with several guests finding the sofa and bed uncomfortable. However, some guests had a comfortable stay, indicating that comfort levels may vary. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to an average score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-furnished and equipped. However, maintenance issues such as a loose kitchen tap, problematic TV signal, and a need for TLC in some areas slightly reduce the score.

Guests mention thoughtful gestures like welcome flowers and wine, which are appreciated. However, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may not be provided to all guests.

Blinds in bedroom are damaged and also do not block out the light. Door stops needed to prevent damage to walls.bathroom in need of some shelving as no where to put toiletries. Lovely little cottage that needs some TLC holes in walls.boarding outside front of property loose.

We arrived to find dog poo on the decking, overgrown shrubs over hanging, dead leaves on floor, cobwebs in all the rooms. Kitchen: cupboard doors were dirty and you could see the drip and finger marks. Utensils: spatula was broken. Place seriously in need of TLC. Bedroom: Mattress was uncomfortable and springs noisy when turning over. Pillows flat and old. Duvet cover was tired. Dirty marks on rug. Very hot in room, could do with a fan in there. On the other hand, Tenby is beautiful and would highly recommend, sadly not this cottage.

The cottage is clean & comfortable & the little outside area was also fine & was a bit of a sun trap & I enjoyed reading my book out there on a couple of afternoons. The property is a convenient ten-fifteen minute walk into town. We didn’t use the dish washer do can’t comment on that. The only negatives I would say is that the bed has a bed end/ foot to it & as both my husband & I are tall we found it quite uncomfortable as it was not possible to lie on your back or stomach as you couldn’t stretch your legs out fully which meant that every night we didn’t get a very good nights sleep. This wouldn’t be a problem however for people who aren’t tall. It was also very hot & it seemed like it was a winter quilt that was on the bed. The only other negatives were that it took quite a bit of fiddling with the shower as initially we found it way too hot. There was also no welcome arrival pack which is quite unusual these days or information booklet co covering local facilities, pubs & restaurants etc. On the whole though, it was a lovely cottage & I would definitely recommend it to others.
