With a warm and welcoming feel, couples can enjoy each others company in this well-appointed retreat and make the most of the scenic walks available from their doorstep. Arrive into the kitchen/diner, light and airy with a touch of vibrancy that creates a pleasant ambience for preparing those home-cooked meals. Continue through to the double bedroom, which has a modern, sophisticated style, and a dressing table for somewhere to get ready in the early hours. To the side of the room lies a small storage area, ideal for keeping your belongings safe, and this leads through to an en-suite which boasts a lovely rainfall shower. The lounge has a classic neutral overtone, complete with two sofas and gold curtains that set the room off well. A selection of DVD's and games will keep you entertained for hours as you relax through the evening in comfort. This retreat is located close to a local canal for guests to use in the summer months. Venture out into the village, bound by the River Vyrnwy to the south and limestone cliffs to the north. With plenty of views and scenic walks, this retreat is the place to be for exploring the hidden charms of Wales. This property is also situated with Rock View Cottage (997199) and together can sleep 7.

Fabulous Welsh and English borders location too- so easy to get to as well. Can’t fault it for anything…

Owner was friendly & offered us produce from his garden.

The shower is quite quirky as the taps are outside the cubicle but it was fine, we got used to it. I was pleased to see the bed had been moved to a more central position away from the wall. The weather was awful but the storage heater in the living room soon took the chill off. It's attached to the owners property who were also lovely and very welcoming and Tess their dog is gorgeous. There's a fantastic pub, The Bradford Arms, a lovely 20 min walk down the canal. Definitely recommend this property.
