The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to local villages, shops, and pubs. It serves as a great base for exploring the Shropshire Hills and enjoying nature.

The property is described as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with very comfortable beds and a relaxing bath. Some guests mentioned low beams and the layout as minor inconveniences.

The property is well-equipped with essentials and has characterful features like oak beams. However, guests noted a lack of local information, guidebooks, and some kitchen basics, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Bed was very comfortable with lovely covers on. Just what was needed after a long day site seeing. Was very peaceful throughout our stay, wouldn’t have known there was other people living on the same premise, other than the occasional farm animal making a noise it was quiet. Would have been nice to have a tv in the bedroom so we could watch tv in bed but i know this is not a make or break decision. Under the bed could do with a good hoover (only found this out as dropped a headphone and came across random objects under the bed and a fair bit of dust). Cottage is 10 minutes away from local shop and really nice chinese takeaway. Wouldn’t advise going in a low sitting car as driveway is quite uneven/pot hole’y. Not too sure where the enclosed garden was as the garden next to the building is all open so would be unsure whether to take a dog with us if we stay again. Would have been nice for a book with some details about the area, local eateries etc but again, not a massive issue. Would definitely recommend to others as it is a beautiful place to stay

The cottage is quirky and very well equipped, in beautiful surroundings. Kate the owner is lovely hospitable lady, who could not be more helpful. Would go back.
