Guests say

Awelfryn is a well-received cottage in Betws-y-Coed, praised for its stunning views, cosy interiors, and peaceful surroundings. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local attractions and nature walks. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The cottage is generally regarded as clean and tidy, with comfortable furnishings. However, there are isolated comments about stains and the garden's upkeep, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to local amenities and nature. The steep walkway and initial difficulty in finding the property are noted, but do not detract significantly from the overall positive reception.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere. Some concerns about seating for the advertised capacity and the need for additional items like coat hangers and drying racks are mentioned.

Facilities are adequate, with a well-laid-out kitchen and comfortable lounge. However, guests have reported issues with hot water access, lack of an iron, and maintenance of outdoor areas, indicating a need for attention to facilities and maintenance.

The welcome pack is a delightful touch, though it's not consistently mentioned, and its absence is noted in one review. It's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It had everything we needed, and was the perfect base to explore from. We would recommend to others, and hopefully it will be free for us to book again.

Stays warm when the log fire is lit. Parking is not an issue. Quite isolated which what was wanted. No noise from either adjoining cottage. It was very difficult to fid initially, even with the instructions and the key lock was difficult to locate as it the back of the location instead of being near the front door. Easily fixed by mentioning to expected guests. Perfect cottage to use as a launching pad if you want to go walking in Snowdonia

Clean and tidy, a microwave dish would have been useful.
