Beddgelert is a bustling village with arts and craft shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, centred around the Afon Glaslyn river. A 20 minute stroll along the river will take you to the Aberglaslyn Pass, one of North Wales’ most famous beauty spots. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway passes through the village on its journey from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. The house is in a perfect location with off street parking which can be rare in these small mountain villages. Previous suggestions of supplying milk, toilet roll, hand soap and a small amount of kitchen supplies have all be taken on board and provided. The property is comfortable and clean without feeling like you can't relax. We will definitely return

House was clean and comfortable, it suited us as 5 friends. As mentioned by some others, there are no basic & essential items at all. No towels (really unusual) and no salt / pepper / oil / tea / coffee in the kitchen … literally nothing, cupboards were bare. It’s the difference between being ‘okay’ to being ‘really good’. A few little extras don’t cost much but delight customers, a welcome cake / bottle of wine for example. It also smelt pretty musty in places - so needs a good airing or maybe down to underuse? That aside, house is fine for a weekend - I probably wouldn’t return or recommend unless the above issues were addressed.

After a 3 hour drive we all needed the toilet but before we could we had to go to the local shop to buy some toilet paper.
