Upstairs, you will find two elegantly-dressed double bedrooms, both with plush linens and charming furnishings to create welcoming spaces to return to each evening. If you are visiting during the summer months, be sure to take your morning coffee out onto the rear terraced garden and return of an evening for a spot of alfresco dining as you catch the final glimpses of sunshine. If you can tear yourself away from this charming abode, venture a short distance into the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog, which was once considered to be the slate capital of the world, so be sure to expect some historical landmarks and compelling beauty as you spend time here. The town comes with a plethora of places to eat and drink and shops for holiday gifts and essentials, accompanied by a range of attractions to keep all entertained. Here you will find Llechwedd, which tells the story of the men who built the industry, Bounce Below, where you can bounce from net to net in a cavern the size of a cathedral and Zip World Caverns for a journey through the underground caverns on zip lines. The cottage looks exactly like the pictures online it’s clean and cosy especially on an evening with log fire burning, we hope to come back in the near future and have already recommended to friends and family.

It was exceptionally clean and we arrived to a lovely welcome hamper which was very well appreciated. It was a surprising large cottage but previously it had been two cottages. The owner left us a very informative manual about the history of the cottage and places to visit in the area. We had no problem with parking using the carpark further down the road on the left in front of the playground. Using the parking space near the cottage at Weekends to unload and load the car. WiFi wasn’t the best but to be expected in the local area . Would definitely recommend this well kept cottage to anyone wishing to stay in this area. Good contact from Geraldine the owner.

Nice walks, cafe by the power station which is nice, and hear and see the steam train from the garden.
