Just a stone's throw away from a host of local amenities, and a short journey from the shoreline of Porthmadog, the cottage welcomes four adults, four children, and one furry friend, offering flexible sleeping arrangements, characterful living areas, and a prime location, nearby Snowdonia National Park. Pull up on the roadside before entering the stone-fronted abode, firstly reaching the inviting living room, dotted with plush seating, a Smart TV, local artwork, and a lovely woodburning stove, enveloped by original stonework. Venture into the kitchen/diner, where you can prepare meals with a range of state-of-the-art appliances, before gathering around the dining table, perfect for planning your itinerary. If you'd prefer an alfresco affair, discover the rear multi-level patio area with dining space, before returning indoors for an indulgent bath in the sleek bathroom; upon the first floor you'll also locate a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite, and a further king-size, both well-presented with stylish accessories. Climbing up to the second floor, be welcomed into the twin bedroom, with a feature panelled wall, a chalkboard, ideal for the children of your group, and a cloakroom, along with a snug double, with the convenience of a sofa and TV. The cottage boasts a great location near amenities like pubs, a restaurant and a fish and chip shop that are all just paces away. The charming settlement of Tremadog is found on the outskirts of Porthmadog, Gwynedd. There are several local businesses, a variety of pubs, a restaurant, a fish and chip store, a spar, and other establishments in this village. The bigger coastal town of Porthmadog, which offers a wider range of amenities to satisfy all needs, is only one mile away. Additionally, visitors can utilise Tremadog as a base to explore miles of countryside, including Wales' tallest mountain, woodlands, beaches, and locations steeped in endearing history, as the community sits on the edge of the renowned Snowdonia National Park. The seaside town of Harlech lies further away. Here, you may stroll down the beach, see the majestic mediaeval castle, or sit in a café and take in the view of the ocean. Portmeirion, an Italian-style village nearby, and Criccieth, a town, are both well worth a visit.

Great location to visit this lovely area. Cottage is immaculately presented and offers nearly everything you need. Beds âï¸ Showersâï¸ Internal space âï¸ Loft rooms âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ (big hit with my 5 year old) Location âï¸ Cooking cleaning facilities âï¸ 2 pubs in the village 1 doesn't open till 5pm. Both are quite expensive for food and similarly prices. The golden fleece was newly refurbished and offered a large selection of drinks but we preferred the typical old world pub, The union inn as the atmosphere was relaxed and really friendly. Only 2 things let this property down - The free for all parking outside is shambolic. The neighbours on both sides have 2 cars each which should normally leave enough space for 1 car but the business opposite insisted on parking their van right outside the front door, whichever we had to park down the street for 4 out of 5 days - I spoke to the guys in the business and they just laughed. The rear room and outside space - once the door is open, the room stinks of damp and is full of spiders. My daughters would not go through to the 'yard' and even my dog needed bribing. The outside space is not suitable to even sit in as the lower part is that covered it feels like a cave and getting to the upper part is dangerous (if any rain or moisture in the air) - I made it up but no one else fancied tackling the steep and loose rock steps. If it weren't to the 2 above points, it would be near perfect. We visited most of the towns along the coast spanning 100 miles and we could've seen more if we had more time. The copper mines at Sygun where great and the walks close by meant it was a full day Our favourite place was Beddgelert. Great walks, Super handmade gift shops. Lovely river. Scenic walks and a fantastic pub (Prince Lewellyn) - could not recommend this village highly enough.

The property is deceptively spacious, with four good sized bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and modern day amenities. The owner really went the extra mile with little touches, such as welcome pack with milk, Welsh cakes, washing up liquid, dishwasher Tablets, coffee capsules, pump soap in every toilet. If you needed it, it was there. I had been worried about the street parking, but this didn't come to fruition. Always space either outside or close by so never once a problem. If I had to criticise anything, which is hard to do on such a lovely property, we did wish the pillows in the master bedroom had more guts to them, as using two your head was still on the mattress. Overall we were more than happy, and by far the best catered for holiday let we have stayed in. Thank you.
