  Enjoyable stay in Coach House Cottage at the end of September with our dog. Ten minutes walk to the coast and lovely walks around and about including over to Sheringham and getting the Poppy Line train back to Weybourne station. We found the area quite dog friendly which was lovely, with cafes etc happy to accept a well behaved dog on the premises - especially useful with the changing weather! An added bonus for us was that for four nights we were treated to a wonderful display of the Milky Way as Weybourne is in the Dark Skies area. The Ship Inn - 2 minutes walk away - does a fabulous Sunday lunch but you need to book in advance....even before you arrive! Our stay was end of September/early October! Evening meals are also served some evenings - again booking essential. The village shop opposite is well stocked and also serves teas/coffees/ breakfast and snacks.

  Our 5th visit to the wonderful county of Northumberland, our 1st visit here at this lovely, spacious apartment “Wild Goose”. We have re-visited Berwick where we have fond memories having stayed there the 1st two times. We made our usual trip into Seahouses and also visited Craster for the 1st time with a lovely walk to Dunstanburgh. Bamburgh is as lovely as ever, we always enjoy our visit to The Copper Kettle, having stayed in the village once before. The highlight of the week though had to be sightings of dolphin packs passing along the beach, twice here in the evening towards Holy Island and once outside the harbour at Craster. Thanks, Jill, for a fantastic week and letting our daughter come along for a couple of nights for Father’s Day.

  Wild Goose apartment is perfectly located in Bamburgh village within easy reach either by foot or car of the incredible county of Northumberland and all its wonderful sights. A beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious yet cosy apartment with a lovely open fire and incredible views of the Bamburgh coast and the spectacular castle. A perfect place to spend a relaxing New Year. The beach at Bamburgh is unrivalled and the castle takes your breath away with its splendour. Coquet Cotrages are a lovely family run company offering a very efficient five star customer service with attention to detail that is second to none. We’ve had such a fantastic time we have already booked to come back to Wild Goose.

  Lovely stay at the Studio.

  The property is spotlessly clean and everything you need is supplied (no need to bring anything). You can make a cup of tea when you arrive as Penny makes sure you have fresh milk, even fresh flowers on the table & if you are bringing a pet a supply of dog treats. On a separate note the shower did not have much pressure and wifi was very slow. Just my own personal opinion and is not meant as a criticism as the property is lovely and comfortable. We were visiting friends and know the area well but if you need any help Penny is there to assist. Would highly recommend this property and thank you Penny for a lovely stay.

  The Studio is well equipped and as shown in the images.

  Had the weather been warmer, I'm sure we would have sat outside more, the yard is a sun trap in the afternoon. The Studio is also a good location for visiting a number of historic sites and the coast. We packed a lot into our week here. My only disappointment with the property was the traffic noise. I'd incorrectly assumed this would be a quiet location but the adjacent road turned out to be busy. This was my error, but I was glad that we hadn't taken our dog as I wouldn't have fancied walking along the road to get on to nearby public footpaths.
