  Lovely stay at the Annexe The owners communicated well before we arrived, with specific directions, but the property was easy to find.

  In any event. Only issue I found that, with a large car, it was quite tight manouvering through the gates into the second courtyard where the annexe was located, however the owners opened the bottom gate to the property which allowed us more room to access from the second entrance which was appreciated. The property itself was very clean and well appointed, the owners had kindly provided a welcome pack of bread/milk/coffee/biscuits etc which was a nice touch. Main bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable, all good there. The main living area had 2 sofas, which is good to spread out, although we found the various controls for the TV a wee bit confusing, but got there in the end The annexe is built next to and above the owners garage, so most of the accomodation is above the garage, apart from the kitchen and utility which were obviously downstairs. Be aware that the mechanical noise of the power garage doors is obvious from the annexe, and it took us a minute to realise what this was- perfectly reasonable for the owners to access the garage to go about their daily business of course, but it might be useful to make guests aware of this in advance. We booked the annexe as a base to attend the Festival of Speed which is only about 5 miles away, and it is perfect for that and to explore the surrounding area. Recommended

  We have just returned from a lovely week in Sussex staying at the Dog and Trout. The cottage was super comfy and well equipped, with lovely large bathrooms. Our cockapoo was able to stretch his legs in the pretty and secluded garden. We really appreciated the lovely welcome gifts and it was nice to meet the owners, Julie and Martyn, who were very helpful. We were lucky enough to have mostly sunny weather and particularly enjoyed the three village pubs, which were all dog friendly and served great food. We went for some lovely walks from the cottage across the downs, up to Cissbury Ring, and travelled further afield to the coast and to the Weald & Downland Living Museum. Would recommend a car to get to the shops and village eateries. We may well be back!!

  Fantastic long weekend of peaceful solitude.

  The owner made it known upon arrival that she was available if needed and was found immediately when I had a missing item to supply it. They also kindly made it clear ahead of my departure that I didn’t have to rush out at the usual checkout time as their cleaner would not be there until later in the day. The only suggestion would be to provide a torch, especially in winter, as by their own admission the solar lights don’t really get enough sunlight to charge them and the path to the pod from the car park and the drive/road itself can be pretty dark. All in all, a wonderful weekend and I’d love to return.

  A wonderful time staying here

  We have had a wonderful time staying here in this lovely house. We have been staying here with our family as our son was getting married in Bosham church. Our four kids and partners enjoyed staying here immensely. The house is very comfortable, has the most beautiful views. Lovely outside spaces and walks nearby. The house is beautifully furnished - such a lovely style. Everything we need for cooking entertaining and relaxing at hand. We have had the most amazing time. Our son's wedding week will be very memorable[e and Snow Goose will be part of those memories. Thank you.

  Here again - never looses its magic

  Gosh! Here again - never looses its magic. The sun room - gives such calm pleasure as you watch the tide. This year we were treated to a deer in the garden - the hedgerows in blossom. The house as always is comfortable more than a home from home. Luxurious and full of fun interior decoration bits. The week as usual went too quickly - but we packed a lot in. Chichester, Birdwatching, Golf Experience, Climbing. Kayaking (sea) - to see the seals. Coffee shops - Art shops and more. We would be so grateful if we could come again - family time has a new meaning at Snow Goose.
