  Fantastic place to stay. Aside from the most wonderful views from all the front windows and brilliant location the owners have really thought about the people staying at the property and what a holiday maker would need, making for a very pleasurable stay. Chairs at the front and back of the property so you can take a cuppa outside and find the right place for you morning or afternoon. Large dinning table and selection of chairs in the lounge - well equipped kitchen and place to store your food - very comfy beds with again good space for your clothes and effects - great hot showers - property has plenty of space - not cramped together - well laid out need I say more? The house was totally spotless - super clean - please pass on our appreciation to the house keepers - what a wonderful job they are doing - thank you very much.

  A great location with stunning views from the bedroom, lounge and dining area with a large patio at the front to also soak up the views. The kitchen had everything we needed and overall we had a very comfortable stay. The outside shower being warm for those rinses when back from the beach was a nice surprise, and thoughtful touches to have somewhere to be able to rinse and hang wet suits and a garage to store things in also very handy. I quite enjoyed watching my girls get fitter over the course of the week with the 10 minute walk back up a steep hill after each venture to the beach :) The views at the top along with everything Woolacombe has to offer never led them to complain!

  On the whole we found Highview to be a comfortable, warm & well equipped property. Despite the steep hill - perhaps worth a mention in the description - we would stay again & found it to be an excellent holiday location. Our main issue was with the 'information folder' which needed attention. There was nothing about local services (doctors, dentists, places of interest etc) & nothing about how to adjust the timing of the heating - these were both referred to but actual information was not present. Recycling information was confusing, contradictory & out of date. And it would have been good to have some kitchen roll! But on the whole a most enjoyable week.

  Harrold Lodge is the most amazing holiday home with great space for a family holiday. We were there with our our children and grandchildren and could not have wished for a more perfect holiday home. The owners have thoughtfully provided a good supply of kitchen equipment, board games and beach body boards/fishing nets etc which were gratefully used! Very comfy beds and soft towels. The spectacular views of the bay and the sound of the sea make it such a special location. It was very difficult to leave but we hope to return in the future! Thank you!

  The property is truly amazing. It offers a majestic view out over the coastline and beaches and is a wonderfully comfortable home from home. The owners have thought of everything, there wasn’t a single item missing from the house. We stayed for Christmas and used the house to the max during two fierce storms. The house provided safe shelter and was the starting point for many wonderful walks around beautiful countryside and to great pubs and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back!
