  Our second stay at the Mushroom House.

  It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has been upgraded since our last stay and is very smart. The kitchen has all you need (except a bread Knife?) and it was nice to have milk, Welshcakes and tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. There is plenty of room for two people, the shower is excellent and the small seating area outside is pleasant after a day out, also the area inside by the entrance door. The property is inside what was an old walled garden, shared with some residential properties and is very quiet and private, with its own parking - gold dust in Tenby. There are two steps up to the patio and front door. It is a 5 minute (uphill) walk to the North beach and about 200 level metres to a small, well stocked, Co-op shop in the other direction. We didn’t need to use Sainsbury’s. We had only light footfall noise from upstairs. There is very good WiFi and we loved the password on the big stone, we might keep ours on one! As other people have commented, it would be nice to have instructions for the appliances (we Googled the dishwasher!) and, also, if we were responsible for putting the correct recycling things out when the neighbours did (there are very adequate boxes in the property for all recycling). We met the owner on our last day and would definitely stay here again.

  Very well equipped ground floor flat (a few steps up from the pavement). The property is just a small and very quiet road across from the beach, with steps down to reach miles of golden sandy beaches. There are three islands directly opposite/near the flat - one is Caldey Island -- you can visit the monastery there and look round the island by boat from Tenby. Stunning views. You can park on The Paragon, which is the quiet road the flat is on. The road is mostly used by people going to the beach. The flat has secondary glazing, so you don't hear much of what's going on outside. Comfortable extra large double bed in a very spacious bedroom. Also a twin room, which has less room, but which was fine. Small balcony outside the twin room. The area is stunning and Tenby is a busy little place, with a good variety of shops (Tesco Extra, Sainsburys, WH Smith, Boots and lots of independent shops). Short walk to the shops - maybe 3 minutes. Recommend this comfortable, spacious flat, which was immaculately clean. Thanks for a great holiday.

  Great place for a week's stay exploring the area and hiking the Pembrokeshire coast.

  The property was clean and comfortable with a good layout. The kitchen was great with a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean with lots of hot water. Wifi was excellent, very fast. We were very impressed with the overall standard and cleanliness of the accommodation and would not hesitate in using it again. Excellent restaurants in Tenby (not so good in Saundersfoot) The Plantagenet was brilliant and the delivery service and quality from Tenby Fish & Chips were great. Lovely neighbours all round, especially next door with the friendly Staffy. The local butchers (Copper Hog) was amazing (Tomahawk Beef, leg of lamb, all great and their homemade Lasagna was superb). The local pub (Evergreen) a few yards away was friendly and comfortable. All in all 10/10

  Amazing apartment, fantastic sea views from all windows which are large, spacious airy rooms, spotlessly clean, excellent quality equipment and furnishings, lots of little extras for comfort like a fan in each bedroom, small radio, lots of books, games and dvds in the lounge, large tv with lots of channels provided, very comfy beds and sofas, apartment very close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, all around a 20 min walk and one of our party is less able but still managed to walk to everything and back. Definately one of THE best if not the best holiday property we have stayed in and Tenby is just beautiful and, for dog owners which we are, VERY dog friendly.   The location of the apartment was excellent and the overall standard of the accommodation was fairly good. However there were some specific disappointments which meant this was not up to the standard of other places we’ve stayed: The balcony was unsafe to use The shower in the second bathroom kept throwing up filth from the drain which made it unusable. We have a photo of this if it can be followed up. The information sheet had incorrect information about the Wi-Fi No orange recycling bags provided Unable to control the heating in the kitchen so it became unbearably hot Pretty poor not to have towels provided especially as we were travelling by public transport. We’ve booked with Original Cottages many times and the standard has been excellent. This wasn’t!
