  A well-equipped and well-located property. We'd previously stayed at nearby Silver Birches on the same development, so we knew how well-placed we'd be for our favourite days out: National Trust properties, birdwatching at Cley and Pensthorpe, North Norfolk coastal towns. Wye Cottage had everything we needed for cooking and preparing food. Bed (top floor) was one of, if not THE most comfortable I've ever slept in. Lovely large bath on the first floor. Plenty of storage for the food we brought from home and bought there. Reliable heating and plenty of hot water make a newer property a good choice for a winter break! Very useful property folder. Honestly can't think of any negatives. We'd definitely book there again.

  The cottage itself was beautiful and in an idyllic location and we would definitely stay again purely for the location and the garden was lovely and secure for the dogs.

  However we had the clean it thoroughly upon arrival. The kitchen was dirty, particularly the floor. The fridge needed cleaning, there were cobwebs all over and the skirting boards were filthy. The hoover left onsite needs the bag changing, this could be partly the issue. That said, the cottage was extremely well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We also had issues with the neighbours having building work done which would start at 9am daily disturbing the peace somewhat. (This is no reflection on the property, simply feedback incase any further guests complain). Overall we had a really lovely stay, it was a shame about the cleanliness, we definitely left it cleaner than when we arrived.

  A really well equipped and comfortable cottage in a fabulous location. We loved being able to explore the Norfolk coastline and surrounding areas. Salthouse felt like a really central location for this. We were a party of 10 and never felt too crowded. The boot/coat room is a huge plus to keeping things out of the way and the additional TV room is great and allows breakout space for games/TV / puzzles etc. We found everything we needed and more in the kitchen and I'm pretty jealous of the induction hob and oven which heated so quickly. Hot water supply was plentiful and all 6 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We have already recommended to friends.

  We loved our stay! The property has a really fun vibe. We enjoyed the summer house at the end of a sunny day with the old children’s annuals. The house had the most incredible collection of elephant art - pictures and artefacts. We kept coming across more. An enjoyable activity on a rainy day would be counting them all. Good facilities at the Mews included an easy to use kitchen. Wells-next-the-sea is great fun. We walked on the coastal path several times. We enjoyed Holkham, Houghton Hall and Felbrigg NT. We had a lovely meal at the Crown next door and bought fish and Chips from French’s on the harbour. Would be happy to return.

  This was a long overdue get together break for 8 of us from our family, so we needed somewhere that could accommodate us all, that was also spacious, comfortable, well equipped and within easy reach of some of the popular town's along the coast and Sea Watch had all of those needs in abundance. Everyone commented on how good the venue was and how well equipped it was in the kitchen and throughout the house, plus it had some really nice personal touches, which made it feel very homely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a comparable venue and we've said we'd all welcome the chance to go back again.
