  The little barn!

  ! What a delight! It will hold such special memories I came with my husband and our two friends I organised it for a surprise 50th for them! We drove round to the back and wow!! There it stood with the tree sparkling in the window!! So special!! Very private. Beds very comfortable very clean! Lovely welcome pack! Always exciting to get one of those! Very very helpful owners! Answered my messages instantly with a reply! Took us few days to find a good walk we got to dead ends and had to scramble over and under things!!. We mainly cooked at the barn but Boxing Day we went to the running horse in Fakenham which was fantastic for the price and lovely staff!! Fantastic meal at the white Swan in Gressenhall gorgeous country pub with lovely staff the bell at Brisley we have heard is the best and we planned to go but was then unable too!!. We wanted to have breakfast at the old dairy took a walk and found it on line it said open but disappointingly it was closed which was a real shame. I think because we had such windy weather it would be nice if fence panels are fixed!! They banged a lot and having a very anxious dog with us ment sleepless nights!. There is lots that could be done to improve the barn! Ie: a little side porch (boot room) for when you come back with muddy boots and dogs! There is the perfect space for it with an extra WC in it would be perfect. But that’s just extras we had a fabulous time don’t hesitate in booking your little barn experience now!!!

  “We have been to Sheringham on holiday many times, but this was our first stay at the Sidings. What a delight! We have all expressed a wish to return here. It was comfortable, well equipped for self catering, and we all became train spotters during the week with the novelty of having the trains literally at the end of the garden. We chose a bungalow as we were bringing a wheelchair this time, and it was very suitable for a chair and walker. The location is straightforward for accessing the town and the sea front, and once we’d worked out the dropped kerbs in town, we became quite expert, as this was our first go at wheelchair manoeuvring as well! We only really paid attention to the garage two doors down at the end of the week, but it has a very handy supermarket in there with all the things you run out of for convenience. The property is well maintained and comes with useful things like the trinket trays by the bed to drop rings and watches in overnight. Plenty of plates,mugs and cutlery too. All in all, we were very pleased with this accommodation and are looking to return soon.”

  Fabulous Barn and we’ve stayed at a lot!

  The Barn itself is a dream presented inside and out to the highest standard, located within a private Hamlet of Barns/Cottages and nicely secluded with private parking and a fabulous view of the Winter sunrise through the two floor to ceiling lounge windows Two large comfy sofas, some say low but we found them ok, generously equipped kitchen although we don’t cook, underfloor heat pump heating which was brilliant on the cold Winter days, King size bed which is extremely comfortable Great secured large garden area ideal for our two dogs Generous welcome pack even including treats for the dogs and nice fresh flowers as well, the best we’ve had! On arrival it seems a little remote but it took no doing to get familiar with the surrounding area, ideally situated for all areas of Norfolk and even North Suffolk if you want venture further Would heartily recommend and book again it was a real pleasure

  We were very impressed with the Little Barn.

  The heating was particularly impressive; we never had to touch it and everything was well regulated. We are almost convinced to lay artificial grass in our garden to replace gravel, as the dogs took to it and used it for giving their backs a good scratch! The linen was of high quality, and the bed very comfortable. The front door is reached via a step, but by using a rear gate and ramp up to the back door, access is not at all compromised. The seating in the lounge area is very comfortable, but very low to get out of if of a certain age and infirmity. There is alternative seating. The position and views are delightful and it is wonderful to sit and watch the pheasants, partridge, mother duck and her ducklings, many small birds and even two deer in the field and scrub behind the garden. A home from home.
