  I have given the property information a score of 2 purely because of the parking information. It has as the website states "off-street" parking for which scratch cards are issued, what it doesn't tell you is that the "off-street" parking is about a 15 minute walk from the property and that whilst you can get to the property by driving along Church Street this is a very tight cobbled street for which vehicular access is very restricted to certain days and times and parking outside for any period of time for off loading luggage etc would block the street. I really feel this should be made clearer on the website as should you be on your own with small children and dogs this could be quite stressful and not easy to manage. Apart from that the cottage is lovely with amazing views and couldn't fault it.

  We went to chill for a few days the directions were perfect. The cottage itself was great everything you needed was there. Was most amazing was all the finishing touches. A little hamper made up of goodies. A lovely scone and jam to have with a lovely cup of tea and fresh milk and a lovely bottle of prosecco cooling in the fridge. We took our dog and everything was there including towels to use and some snacks for him. The area outside the cottage was brilliant to let our dog explore even a torch was provided to use at night time. All in all a lovely place and the hosts were lovely and friendly it was a pleasure to use their cottage and would use it again with big recommendations thank you.

  Wonderful cottage, great location for walks to local beaches or exploring further afield. The cottage is very comfortable, extremely well equipped and very clean with every need met, be that human or our four legged family members. The welcome pack is exceptional. Thank you to Laura and David for being wonderful hosts, their attention to detail and willingness to share information made our stay with them the best possible experience. Arranging the perfect weather and the fly past by the Red Arrows especially for us certainly topped it off!!

  The property is very good, although small it offers everything you need plus there is excellent rural views from the stable front door. Very impressive welcome package which was appreciated. It is located in lovely grounds which provide seclusion and privacy from the main road. The owners are very friendly and approachable but do not interfere with your holiday, but if needed are always available to help or assist in any way they can. We would highly recommend this property.

  Have already recommended the cottage only a couple of negatives 1 parking on Saturday it’s extremely busy Little yard at back should be tidy and clean Heavy lid on refuse box in ally not a lot of room awkward to get at Tv in bedroom very poor Have really enjoyed Whitby will always recommend although these few issues were a problem for me as l was on my own after Sunday so as an oap it would be nice to address very simple to improve thank you for a very nice stay
