  The overall stay was excellent.

  The flat is full of character and decorated with care. The views were second to none and the location in Ironbridge itself was truly special.There was a few things which could make slight improvements. - it said on the listing there was a washing machine but there wasn't. We did plan on washing some of our young son's clothes, it's not a massive issue but it's to bear in mind. - a welcome basket would have been a nice touch. We arrived quite late, meaning we couldn't grab any bits for the morning. Some coffee, tea bags and milk satchets would have been nice. This isn't a deal breaker by any stretch and didn't spoil the stay. - some of the cupboards felt a little 'lived in.' the cleaning cupboard under the sink was what you would expect to find at home, Christmas tree in the storage space and spare bulbs etc. again, it's fine but a little attention to detail would really elevate this already brilliant property. - parking was a little tricky at times as the road leading up to the property and parking area was tight. If you have a bigger car (which we do, unfortunately) it can be a bit touch and go with the walls! - having said all that, we loved staying here, the location was great and perfect for our needs. The flat was lovely, well presented, comfortable and spacious. We'd happily stay here again.

  My stay at 31 Riverside was incredibly enjoyable from start to finish.

  Though I didn't meet the hosts in person, communication was seamless. They provided clear instructions for check-in, making the process easy and stress-free. It was clear they cared about providing a great experience, as everything I needed was carefully laid out, and they were quick to respond to any questions. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how well-maintained and spotless the property was. The house was impeccably clean, with every room tidy and thoughtfully arranged. The living area was inviting, making it easy to feel at home and comfortable. 31 Riverside offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, and the attention to detail in both cleanliness and convenience made for a truly pleasant stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free retreat! One of the standout features of the property is the cave with the hot tub. It truly offers a unique and luxurious experience. The cave is beautifully designed, creating a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub, surrounded by natural stone and ambient lighting, provides the ultimate relaxation after a day of exploring.

  We have rented this property many times and each time it lives up to our expectations so that is the best recommendation, we have also booked again for later on in the year.

  But for those who are thinking about booking you won't be disappointed. It is beautifully kept and well equipped. The beds and 3 piece suit are all very comfortable with added soft furnishings for extra comfort. All in all our little bit of heaven to escape from rat run. The top bedroom stairs could be difficult for some but this is always the room of my choice as its so bright in the day but still cosy in the morning. The hot tub is lovely and located in the most perfect spot so come rain or shine it's a pleasure. The cottage is well situated close to the town with plenty shops. We have booked other properties but this is definitely our favorite. We don't have a dog anymore and it always surprises me that I have never found evidence of a dog in the house which just shows the high standards of cleanliness. The owners communication is brilliant and responded to any questions we had very quickly. Nothing was to much much trouble to ensure our stay was complete. The black boy pub just behind the cottage is recommended, no frills just a nice friendly pub.

  No 7 is approximately 30 minutes walk to Ironbridge.

  Two museums conveniently situated directly opposite the house to visit and a fantastic but pricy cafe but these local attractions are not open Mondays or Tuesdays. Great location for all of the Blists Hill associated museums and you can also take dogs to Blists Hill and the gorge museum which is a big plus but none of the others we found allowed dogs. The cottage itself is very quaint, decorated and furnished to a good standard. I didn’t realise I needed to bring a hairdryer as I assumed it would be a standard item, there are three televisions and three toilets! We visited end of February and the log burner is still not connected sadly and there is a draft from the fireplace but throws are provided, the heating works well and the water pressure is off the scale! Very handy large cloakroom. Hopefully the lighting in the bathroom and a shower issue will be fixed next time we come. Would highly recommend this place, especially if you like walking as there are lots of hill walks from the house locally, my boys spotted deer and a fox at close distance :)

  This is a lovely cottage in a good area for branching out and visiting places such as Chester, Shrewsbury , Birmingham.

  It was clean and tidy inside and the beds were really comfortable. There was ample kitchen utensils and appliances in the kitchen. Areas for improvement could include; The cooker hob took a little while to figure out without any instructions, leading us to have to google how to operate it. There was a definite underlying smell of damp in the downstairs WC with noticeable mould spores on the peeling paint. The upstairs bathroom had a damp smell too. It would have also been good to have control over the bathroom radiators as having to leave damp towels hanging around only added to the overall damp smell. There is no outside area to hang towels if it is sunny so they stayed damp throughout the week. It would have been useful to have a lamp in the sitting areas at night instead of the wall lights as these reflected onto the TV screen. We enjoyed our stay here and liked the cottage and its location but wouldn’t stay again due to the dampness.
