  This lodge was beautiful!

  ! It has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay, it was very well equipped and finished to a high standard, brean country club site was very peaceful which made sitting/ sunbathing on the lovely sofa on the decking very relaxing. We really enjoyed RJ’s night time entertainment too. It was around a 10 minute walk to the beach which was a nice beach for walking, we used the splash park twice which the kids absolutely loved I also went on all the slides and very much enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I have had to pay to use the pool when visiting a holiday park as it’s normally included with the price of the holiday, it cost us £18 every time we wanted to swim which was a shame because my kids would have loved to have gone every day. The park was with in easy reach of western super mere which we enjoyed having a walk round. We also visited Bath which was 1 hour 40 mins away, Torquay which was absolutely stunning and spend the whole afternoon paddling and playing in the sea which was 1 hour 20 mins away and. Glastonbury which was 45 mins away, There were a lot of road works on the M5 which held us back from more exploring near Bristol, iI have mentioned this to help others to plan any day trips to allow more travel time, Due to this reason we decided to leave the night before to miss sitting for hours on the motorway the following day if we checked out at 10am, I was a bit gutted but having three children it made sense and we did miss all the traffic driving home through the night. we would like to thank sue the owner for a lovely stay.   3 bedrooms NO wardrobes.

  No mirrors in bed 1 and 3. No hairdryer. No slipmats for showers--- safety issue. Mentioned to owner on Sunday- never provided them even then. Family shower is for a midget only. More tiles needed and a shower screen or curtain. On the Sunday our Wi Fi went down/ was supposed to be restored by Tuesday. We had none all week!!! No apologies offered. We had 6 cheap thin towels. No midweek change and nowhere for us to launder towels ourselves. There is no outdoor washing line either. No hand towels provided either. I rang the owner 2 days beforehand. He assured me there would be everything we needed. Plenty of teatowels cling film foil food bags. There was NOT. No trivets for hot pans-- safety issue again. I tell you this so improvements can be made for the comfort of future guests.

  We stayed here for a week 4 adults, the lodge is in a very quite location and perfect spot for exploring attractions like wooky hole, cheddar gorge and Weston super mare.

  Lovely and clean on arrival with a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge with some chocolates. There was also some milk, tea and coffee to start you off. No problems with the internet during our stay. I would highly recommend The Knoll pub a short drive away for food it was delicious and the staff are friendly. We also ordered via uber eats from Shah Indian and it was lovely, delivery was quick and he didn't seem to have a problem finding us( we put our address in the way it tells you in the welcome pack) we just met him at the main gate. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others it's a very relaxing space to plan your adventures around Somerset, beds were very comfortable, kitchen has everything you could need and more. Lovely place.

  The property was absolutely perfect!

  Surprisingly spacious with just about everything we could need. Basket of food was a lovely touch ! The only little thing is that when I spoke to Sykes snd asked how close the beach was, they said just 2 or3 minutes walk,when in fact it was about 15 or 20 minutes which was too long for some members of our group to get to without a car, and we didn't want to pay for parking as weather not great, so my mother never did get to see the beach where Sanditon was filmed which was one of the draws. Kept waiting for better weather which never happened,which of course wasn't your fault, but wish we had had accurate information about that and how close the shops and other amenities were.

  We contacted your selves several times and are still waiting for a reply.

  The property had some kind of infestation of flys in one of the main bedrooms which made the room un-usable. We sent photos of the situation but still nothing. We tried to deal with the situation our selves with fly spray but they just kept coming. This issue really ruined the holiday and overshadowed any positive comments we may have had. We were due to stay Saturday to Saturday. But after much upset left the property on the Wednesday. A very upsetting and disappointing experience.
