Peacehaven is an absolute gem of a place. It is set in a quiet private garden . Me, my husband and our spaniel spent a wonderful few days relaxing in the garden, reading and snoozing- so peaceful. We particularly loved the fact that a portion of the garden was fenced off so that the dog could run free. The cottage itself was easy to find and off the beaten track - it’s really well positioned to visit lots of places in Suffolk and Norfolk. We were happy to try out local walks and bought an ordnance survey map of the area in nearby Bungay - there are some delicious eateries here and just a couple of miles away. We would definitely recommend Peacehaven as a “ get away from it all” holiday!

This was our first visit to Suffolk and we thoroughly enjoyed it, The coastal walks were delightful and places such as Minsmere, Dedham Vale, Pin Mill , Aldeburgh and Souihwold were all worth visiting.The exhibition at Sutton Hoo was most interesting historically , with the concert at Snape Maltings a real experience. We found some very good restaurants in Woodbridge . We would recommend Suffolk as a holiday destination - the weather was also very good ! It was an ideal location for discovering Suffolk - close to the A12 and with easy access into Woodbridge itself. .The cottage itself was ideal for 2 people although the chandelier in the bedroom was rather low for tall people !

The property has everything you need. It was extremely comfortable and warm. Comfortable bed and pillows ensured a good nights sleep. We love cooking and were really pleased with the well equipped kitchen area. The location of the property is perfect. Literally on the doorstep it the a River Alde, with easy walks to Snape and Snape Maltings. We were not familiar with this area of the country but will definitely return. This is a lovely little property that should not be missed.

It has been renovated to a very high standard and all the equipment provided is ‘best brands.’ The owners have included lots of details that add to the feeling of comfort and that everything you might need is at hand. There is no garden, but the cottage is located in a courtyard & is so close to a green that this wasn’t an issue for toilet breaks for our little pooch.
