  We had a lovely stay and would recommend this cosy cottage. The host was more than generous and thought of everything that we would need or may have forgotten for our stay. We were staying for a week at Christmas and the Christmas tree was lit and the tasteful interiors was lovely, and even left logs for the log burner, until we purchased some ourselves. The host kindly left us a bottle of wine, mince pies, biscuits and a Christmas card. The location is great as you can walk over to Thornham and have food either in the Orange Tree or The Lifeboat Inn and don't forget the Deli in Thornham too if you require some food to take back to the cottage. Then you can walk the other way from the cottage to Old Hunstanton and eat at The Lodge. The walks are so lovely and only ten minutes to get to the Holme beach, but I would recommend visiting Holkham beach, Wells-next-the-Sea if you want a lot more going on.

  We chose to come here for our UK honeymoon!

  We are very thankful that we did. The surroundings are amazing, the people are so kind and easy to talk to. We were welcomed with a lovely rustic crate filled with some essentials all locally sourced, and a guide booklet to tell us everything we needed to know about the lodge, the hot tub and all electrical equipment. The lodge was set up lovely on arrival and hottub was ready to go whenever we were ready. There is alot to do close by and far away if like us we are fond on exploring new areas. Adam the owner popped in for a check in to make sure everything was okay, and to offer some of his knowledge for the surrounding areas. He was absolutely lovely, really nice and easy to get on with. We have made so many memories here, in this gorgeous setting and we will look forward to coming back here for anniversaries to come!

  The Indrek pod at Mayflower Meadow, was very quirky in style, but absolutely brilliant.

  We loved everything about it. The pod itself had everything we needed for our stay. Set in it's own little private area with a fabulous hot tub( which we used every night). There are 3 pods each completely separate, but all in a lovely space with a pond and benches and a picnic table. There are also some cows and a couple of sheep. All very quiet and tranquil. We met Sally and Sam, both very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Its also a great base to go exploring, we went to Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. The day we went to Scarborough, we had a great breakfast at the Tiger inn, Beeford. On our last day we went into York,using the park and ride which was very reasonably priced. A great holiday and we would definitely recommend it and hopefully we'll be going back again.

  Myself and my partner had booked at Steam mill Lodges for our minimoon.

  Adam and his family where very welcoming upon checking in. Comprehensive file of information for you to soak in. The location of the the lodge was idealic for a peaceful break away. Well maintained lodge with a welcome hamper and slippers. Added bonus was an amazing hot tub. All the creature comforts you will ever need for a short break away. Beautiful natural lake to view with swans swimming daily. Be prepared to drive for days out as the lodges are secluded. We knew this already in advance. Cricketts Inn is a must for and evening meal. Half way house is a welcoming Home style pub. (Thank you grace who works there for making us feel welcome). Once again thank you for you hospitality Adam and family.

  The Bluebell lodge was private which gave a unique experience.

  The lodge was well equipped and had everything you needed. The towels were a lovely thick quality. The bedding was good quality although the bed was a bit hard for me but was perfect for my partner. The welcome box was a lovely touch with the bread, milk, croissants, juice and jam. The view down to the fishing lake was beautiful especially when sat in the hot tub and the twinkly lights above the hot tub was a lovely touch in the evening. The hot hub was a perfect size for me and my partner and was great that it was under cover and right next to the patio doors especially as we had some rain whilst we were there. It was such a relaxing 3 night break, we didn't leave the lodge for the 3 days.
