  We have just spent a wonderful week at 23c Lower Street. The location is great for the Broads: just a mile walk down the lane to Salhouse Broad. There are two pubs that do good food: one is half a mile further on from Salhouse broad and the other is just 200m from the property in the other direction. The property itself is lovely and very well presented. The appliances are high end - Kitchen Aid, Le Creuset etc and nice touches like Molton Brown hand wash. A welcome package of wine, chocolate and biscuits was very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too. The private courtyard was fabulous. We were blessed with very good weather, and being able to sit out in the morning with a coffee planning our day and then again in the evening with a glass of wine was very relaxing, especially as the table and chairs were super comfy. Johnathon and Mercedes were the perfect hosts: at the end of a text if needed and a friendly chat, but gave us our privacy too. I would highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you.

  The cottage was beautiful and in the perfect location with the beach being a 5 min walk away. Cromer town centre was 1 min down the road and there were several lovely cafes and a Co-op literally round the corner. The bed was also the most comfy thing I’ve ever slept on, it was honestly divine! My daughter enjoyed the bunk beds in the second bedroom and also complimented them on being extremely comfortable. The only reason for not giving a 5 star on everything was that the stairs are so tightly curved and extremely narrow that I was scared to come down them whilst carrying anything, which made things slightly difficult, but we did get more used to them by the end of the week, lol! Overall, an absolute gem of a holiday cottage and one that we will most definitely be coming back to ??

  An absolute gem of a cottage, perfectly placed only walking distance from the cliffs and the beach. Happisburgh is a gorgeous chocolate box of a village - really lovely to walk through popping into the pub. The cottage is really beautifully equipped - lovely bedrooms and living space. Absolutely everything you need and a sun trap garden had us sitting outside the whole stay and was super secure for our dog Alfie, who also loved the whole experience. Much to see and do locally so we'll be back!

  We have just returned from a fabulous few days break at Nicholson Cottage. The owner has made the cottage the perfect base to explore & enjoy the northeast coast of Norfolk. This includes two spacious double bedrooms with comfy beds, a lovely open plan kitchen/living area, squidgy sofas, & a suntrap courtyard garden to enjoy alfresco living. The beaches are nearby & the friendly Hill House Pub serves excellent fish and chips, just a short walk away. We loved it and can't wait to go back.

  We stayed at this delightful cottage for a long weekend in June & couldn't have wished for a lovelier place to relax. Well situated, the cottage is tastefully decorated & the garden is just lovely. With the generous welcome pack, we found the cottage to be very comfortable & a home from home. Nicholson Cottage is an ideal base for visiting this fabulous corner of Norfolk- with the coast on the doorstep & plenty of tasty places to eat. We will definitely come here again!
