  Absolutely loved my week away Nett's Coastal Escape.

  The apartment is very well presented and Absolutely immaculate. Kitchen is really well equipped for a self catering holiday. Great shower and i found the bed to be really comfortable. I couldn't believe how warm the apartment kept with just the central heating on low, and sometimes not at all. And I stayed in a bitterly cold week in February. Communication with the owner was spot on. I made full use of the Leisure pass which I enjoyed. The Bay holiday park itself is lovely and clean. This was quite possibly was one of the best "Sykes cottages" properties i have ever stayed in. 5 star all the way. I highly recommend this apartment and it's somewhere I will definitely return to in the future. Thank you Jeanette for a wonderful week away. Kobe.

  Fantastic stay in the property, comfortable, clean, loved the wee hamper and the hosts were super helpful and responsive.

  Only flaw I found is not specific to this property and the facilities inside which as mentioned were fantastic, but the path leading to the front door of the entrance hall for all of the properties in this part of the building, was uneven and I actually tripped at this part and hurt my ankle as a result. It was not that obvious to spot, especially after a 6 hour drive and moving luggage inside, it was easy to miss. As mentioned, this is no fault of the owners of the property, who were super helpful when I mentioned this happened and let me know about the pharmacy in the bay and had left ice in the freezer, though I suspect not with this purpose in mind but very helpful nonetheless. 10/10 property though, will be back.

  I really enjoyed my stay at Netts, for me the apartment was the perfect size and the welcome hamper was superb!

  I have been to cottages where welcome hampers have been promised and have either not existed or have been a poor excuse, so this was a very good start. I feel that the outside of the building where the entrance door is was letting the area down, the paint is stained and just looks neglected which is a real shame as the rest of the village is pristine. My hosts texted to make sure all was well and to thank me for stripping the bed etc. I would definitely book it again should I return . All in all well done Sykes and especially well done to Jeanette and Wayne Thankyou Kelvin moody

  The apartment was just lovely!

  The owner provides everything you would need from luxurious fluffy towels to every kitchen utensil you could need. The dishwasher and washing machine are great additions. Everything has been finished to a high standard. The holiday village itself is well situated (shame there isn't a shop selling everyday essentials but there are shops which as a short drive away). The walk down to the beach is lovely and a nice exercise coming back up the slope! A great holiday setting for access to the lovely Yorkshire coast. My husband, me and the dog had a lovely week!

  The cottage is in a great location for access to beautiful beaches along the coast all a few minutes drive away. The 3-4 cottages are tightly packed together around the shared games room, and adjacent to the owners’ property on a very quiet long narrow single track road. The setting feels remote but not private. The meadow opposite is lovely, and there are plenty of footpaths to explore. The enclosed garden of Catkin cottage is a small courtyard with a low wall, overlooked by other gardens and the road.
