Visited various places - Leyburn, Askrigg, Gayle Falls, Hawes Creamery, Semer Water, Muker, Gunnerside, Sedbergh, Cotter Falls. Great places to eat out that are close by for lunch and evening meals - Kings Arms in Askrigg, Hawes Creamery Cafe, Wensleydale Heifer (lunchtime set menu), Ramsays fish & chip van every Tuesday night in village 4.30-6pm, The Bake-Well cafe Askrigg. Amazing weeks holiday - thank you Alison & Stuart. We will definitely be back again for another relaxing break. Lovely, cosy, clean cottage and little trats provided very much appreciated.

Fabulous place away from it all in the North Yorkshire Dales. We stayed for a weekend with our GS dog at the end of the season in the autumn. Darker nights and peaceful surroundings were perfect to enjoy the wood fired hot tub and the stove inside our yurt. The owner and host Jo, has absolutely nailed the balance between comfort and luxury - breakfast was wonderful and the menu of home cooked food for evening was an unexpected delight! Our dog particularly enjoyed the enclosed field in front of the yurts to run around in, away from any sheep or chickens. Cosy and relaxing - just what we imagined with extra bonuses - would definitely recommend.

Visited Kirkby Lonsdale, Sizergh, Aysgarth Falls, Keld & also an area of the dales we have never been to before, 'Littondale'.
