  Loved this place and would certainly return.

  The cottage is long and thin but there’s excellent use of space, especially in the kitchen area. There are multiple areas to sit and relax, work, read or eat all near windows, good light and heating. The kitchen is very well laid out and equipped for a small space and has a good sized freezer plus small dishwasher and oven. There is a good range of cooking and baking equipment and utensils, crockery and glassware. The décor is eclectic, furnishings hugely comfortable, there’s good hot water, towels, bed and bedding, lots of windows and natural light plus modern touches such as mood lighting, plenty of sockets and even USB ports. The friendly owners are nearby if you need them but otherwise leave you to your own devices. We were welcomed by a lovely basket of goodies that would have been plenty for a dinner, breakfast and even a lunch before getting to the shops. There is good heating throughout and a washer and a dryer are available for an extra charge if needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

  What a wonderful place in the perfect location for exploring Dorset.

  Nordon House is lovely making you feel like it's a home from home with some thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is at the bottom of the drive detached from the house but this is perfect creating a cute little hideaway for either for a peaceful drink or play, Jack hasn't stopped talking about how good the garden was since we got back. The neighbours are really friendly and Jack loved getting to know the dogs. We will hopefully be booking again but for selfish reasons wish it wasn't so exceptional as we know it will be a struggle to find availability during school holidays as it gets more and more popular. Overall I would recommend if you want a great location with local shops on your doorstop for supplies and a good sized holiday home offering you everything you need to create those memories.   Our stay at Norden house left us not wanting to leave.

  We had a fantastic week stay here. The cottage was truly amazing with period features. Everything you could have wanted the house was equipped with it. There was 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 dog in our party and there was tonnes of space for us all. The outdoor paddock was something special with a added retro caravan for us all to enjoy. My wife and I stayed out till the early ours stargazing and enjoyed a bottle of champagne. We will be going back as the location is perfect for walkers, beaches, lovely towns to shop and so much more. We came back Friday 8th and already looking to book up again. The owners are fantastic and on hand if anything is needed. Thanks Danny Carter-Walford

  We had a very lovely stay.

  The converted coach house was beautifully designed, comfortable and very well equipped, right down to the dog bowls! Our old dog loved the box of treats left for her as did we - the welcome hamper for the humans was so carefully presented and it was very useful to be told in advance that we would have milk and bread. The home made jam , local beer, g&t and lovely little dish of butter etc were added delights which made us feel very welcome! The hosts were excellent- helpful, kind and charming. We would certainly recommend this to anyone who loves peace and quiet, beautiful countryside , near interesting places . The New Inn and Giant pubs in Cerne Abbas are well worth a visit.

  Lovely quirky character cottage in a great location for exploring the Dorset coastline.

  Lovely bathroom finished to a very high standard. Top quality bed linen, with my preferred feather pillows and duvet. The kitchenette was suitable for our needs, we were mainly having our evening meals out. If the weather had been better we would have made use of the lovely little garden area and the barbecue that was provided, or even the fondue set. This was our first holiday traveling in an electric car, so it was reassuring to know we could potentially recharge using the owners charge point. However we found Dorset to be very well served with EV charge stations at many of the Council Car parks.
