What our customers say about their holidays

Staying in the Vyrnwy apartment, we had spectacular views over Bala Lake.
During the night, the area was very dark and therefore the stargazing was impressive. The apartments have a short walk to Bala town where there are restaurants, pubs and shops. The apartment contained a large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, all of which were very clean. Further to this, the balcony had two comfortable seats and a table which were perfect for relaxing and looking over the lake. We had views of the train which passes close to the apartment (only passes a few times a day and wonât honk unless you wave so therefore was not a disturbance). You can swim in Bala Lake as well as kayak, meaning that there are plenty of activities to get on with during your stay. The apartments are also not too far away from destinations such as Portmerion (45/50mins drive). The owner Beatrice gave us a lovely welcome and was also very helpful with any queries we had. On arrival we were supplied with milk in the fridge, as well as tea, coffee and sugar. This was by far one of the best apartments we have stayed in and would highly recommend.

Great location, less than a minute away form the beach and a leisurely 5 minute walk from gorgeous Criccieth Castle.
Perfect for Snowdon, Portmerion, Llyn Peninsula. Flat was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Looking at past reviews, the flat now has a cheese grater and the mattresses were spring, not memory foam (shame, really - MF rules but it is divisive...). They obviously act upon reviews and are constantly improving, which is great. So here is one for you guys: there was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen and only half a toilet roll. Luckily we'd brought both but generally we'd find these included in the 'basics' from AirBnB and Booking. The other thing is that a prior tenant has completely destroyed the wok, which was rendered unusable (got pics if you want me to send them to you), which meant there was no non-stick pan of any kind (hard to fry anything without these). Let me reiterate that the above weren't big things/obstacles and would definitely and highly recommend the place.

Been to North Wales lots of times over the years, but never managed to make it to Criccieth; what a lovely little town.
Will definitely go back some time. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully situated just a couple of minutes walk to Marine Beach and a short stroll to Criccieth Castle, which is also visible from the bedroom window and kitchen. Chip shop, pubs and the local shop just a 10 minute walk away and a nice coastal walk on offer if you head in the opposite direction. The accommodation is well presented and cosy - the kids loved it, but the weather was pretty kind to us! Only thing I would add is that out of main holiday season everything shuts down for a couple of hours between 2pm and 5pm so if you are planning eating out factor that in to your agenda. Also the cashpoint seems to be permanently broken - you can get cash as the Post Office if all else fails.

A fabulous stay in a lovely location, with the apartment even better than on previous occasions.
Really appreciate the welcoming touches provided by Beatrice, the host; tea, coffee, milk and biscuits mean you can unpack before stocking up on groceries! The spa-type bath is a wonderful place to soak after a swim in the lake; on this trip in May I managed six separate swims during our long weekend - access to the lake is really easy form the building. Oodles of hot water; big fluffy towels: brilliant. The gardens are looking great - the lakefront is now a quietly secluded spot to find some peace in nature, among the trees. The apartment itself is very well furnished, extremely comfortable, good quality fittings, duvets, pillows, sofa etc. Cleaned and presented to a very high standard. We had such a great time that we'll be back again in the autumn!

This apartment is an amazing place to stay.
The location is unbeatable, with stunning views of the lake from the balcony. It's a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area. The apartment itself is very nice, clean, and well-furnished. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, from an equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and cozy furniture. The balcony is a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The host is exceptional, very good and always available to help out whenever needed. They are kind, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a great experience. also, there are plenty of nice places to visit in the area. we can't wait to revisit.
