What our customers say about their holidays

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Llyn Cae Ty Nant Fishery Holiday Let We had an incredible stay at Llyn Cae Ty Nant Fishery Holiday Let!
From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem. The lodge is set in a stunning and secluded location, overlooking a beautiful small lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Welsh countryside. The scenery is simply spectacular, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was modern, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though we stayed during a particularly cold spell in February, the lodge was incredibly warm and cosy, providing the perfect retreat from the chilly weather. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a smart TV, a hot tub, and high-speed internet. The internet was particularly helpful as we had no mobile reception with Vodafone, so having a reliable connection made a big difference. Our host, Steve, was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we felt welcome and at home. He took the time to walk us through everything, showing us how everything worked and making sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and clearly takes great pride in ensuring his guests have the best experience possible. A special touch was the lovely welcome basket he left for us, filled with snacks and a bottle of wine â such a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture! Unfortunately, due to the cold weather, we couldnât explore the surrounding area as much as we would have liked, but that didnât take away from our experience. Sitting inside, warm and cosy, watching the stunning scenery through the large glass panels with a hot cup of tea was an experience in itself. This is, without a doubt, one of the best holiday lets weâve ever stayed in, and we will definitely be returning! If youâre looking for a peaceful, picturesque escape with top-notch facilities and a fantastic host, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay, it is such an amazing hut with gorgeous views, we can't wait to come back again.
. we've already booked a week next year!! Eleri was their to welcome us on arrival and showed me how to set the hot tub up, I didn't quite manage to heat it up on the first night but every other night the tub was HOT, we were there for 4 nights and used the hot tub around 6/7 times (morning and evening because it was such an amazing view how could we not!) and we still had a couple logs left so plenty of wood for the fire/tub! Eleri really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and perfect as she could, can't thank her enough for the help she gave us! There is so much to do and so many walks we only managed to scratch the surface and cannot wait to be back to discover more beautiful walks and some tasty food at the inn (definitely advise pre-booking a table at the Victoria Inn as it's very popular ;) ) The one thing I've got to mention is that there is so much more in the hut than I thought, I ended up packing a fry pan and kitchen bits and bobs as I wasn't sure what would be there when I arrived, but my oh my this hut had everything! From fry pans to potato peelers, absolutely everything I was very impressed, I now know my bags will be quite a bit lighter next time ;) There's loads of storage under the bed too for suitcases and clothes, a drying rack in the cupboard you can hang on the back of a door for drying your clothes after hiking! Oh and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was a god send for keeping those towels toasty and dry, works a treat on walking socks too ;) Cannot wait to come back and cannot recommend highly enough!!

We stayed here for a relaxing 4 day break (3 nights).
The huts are fantastic and the area is just absolutely beautiful. To wake up to the picturesque mountainous views was so peaceful. The huts have everything you need, kitchen utensils and all and have been finished to a very high standard. Very cosy and comfortable! Our only fault was with the hot tub or should I say "cold tub". On arrival, Eleri was there to greet us and explained how to use the hot tub, advising us it would take around 2 hours in all to heat up. The first problem we incurred was keeping the fire going as the wood provided was damp if not wet after being left out in the rain. After giving up the first night, we began to use our own wood we'd luckily brought with us which was dry (and little did we know you have to pay for any extra wood whilst you're there). After 3 hours of tending to the fire, we checked the temperature to find it was FREEZING! Again, we gave up the attempt. On our last full day we decided to give it one last shot and kept the fire going for over 4 hours - once again, FREEZING! We were incredibly disappointed with this as we wanted a hot tub break and wasted at least 10+ hours of our stay tending to the fire. Upon our departure, we bumped into our lovely neighbours who were staying in the hut next door, who also told us they had no luck getting the hot tub going and had the same problems - coincidence? Other than the gimmick of the hot tub, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the plenty of walks around the area.

We had the pleasure of a 4 night stay at the lodge a couple of weeks ago and we're still talking about it!
The lodge is beautifully built and presented and was perfect for our family of four. It is equipped with everything you need with comfortable beds, great facilities and it is immaculately clean. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the kitchen/laundry was set up perfectly for our needs. The hot tub was a real luxury and maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The views of the lake are stunning and it really is the perfect place to relax, unwind and connect with nature. Steve was an excellent host, recommending great local places to visit and being on hand to help us with anything we might need. The lodge is a short drive from Aberaeron which is well worth a visit and we also enjoyed the local Fantasy Farm Park. We took the Vale of Rheidol steam railway from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge and waterfalls which was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by our kids, aged 10 and 8. That said, our favourite thing by far was returning to the peace, comfort and tranquility of the lodge and soaking up the beautiful surroundings. All in all, we can't recommend a holiday here highly enough. Thank you Steve for a wonderful stay and making our holiday one to remember. We hope to visit again soon.

Absolutely lovely stay, couldnât ask for better hosts.
The rental was remote being 20 minutes drive to anywhere close, perfect for a secluded holiday. Surrounded by small country lanes I wouldnât recommend going in a silly car. The owners recommended places for us to eat nearby and showed us around the property when we arrived. Theyâd even provided us with milk, tea and biscuits when we got there which was very welcome after the long drive. The Wi-Fi was a little sketchy (warning for people who like to take their work on holiday) but I donât think it couldâve been better what with the isolation. The shower was divine, genuinely the best holiday shower Iâve had. The beds were firm and clean, the decking wasnât slippy despite the weather and the hot tub was easy to use and had a fantastic view. Though if youâre a light sleeper I might recommend earbuds just because the rain had a tendency to get a little loud, but not unpleasant. The property itself is impressive, perfect size for us. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay - we couldnât have been happier.
