  The booking was easy and the staff were very helpful online.

  The Holiday property was spacious, very clean and tidy. It had all the mod cons and was stylish. It also had a lovely log burner. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfy. The bedding was very fresh. There was plenty of room to put your belongings away. We were given robes and slippers. We had a food parcel to start us off, which was a really nice touch. The hot tub area was private, was checked daily and was very clean. The separate barbecue area was spacious, had plush seating and a place to put your disposable barbecue. The area was clean, maintained and the staff were really friendly. All in all this was the best holiday property we’ve ever stayed in. We will defo be using Sykes Cottages again and would defo stay at this venue again. Thank you.

  Great location and house, with all bedrooms being en-suite. This is where it ends. The kitchen is small with a distinct lack of equipment available. We had to purchase items from the local supermarket. The fridge freezer is only suitable for a small family, not for the number of guests the house accommodates. There is also a distinct lack of interest from the owners if you have any issues. The heating wasn’t working properly during our stay and after a number of attempts to make contact we received one phone call which didn’t fix the problem and no follow up which is unacceptable. Such a shame as it wouldn’t take much to make this a good find

  Such a beautiful place to hold our spect birthday celebration. Three generations of family were catered for the grandchildren loved the hot tub and the games room as did the adults. The accommodation was lovely and spacious we all had plentiful room to slip off if we wanted to. We all loved the decor and attention to detail in every room. Our dogs Rico and Chico has great fun in the safe garden. The goodies left for us was a lovely touch and the chocolate brownies were the best we have ever had. All in all it was a very special week for us all.

  Wonderful property. All rooms very comfortable. Large dining room well able to cater for a full house. Kitchen however is very small with a fridge suitable for a family of 4 not 24. We had to store food in our car boots (glad it was winter not summer).

  An amazing holiday.

  Very friendly staff. The cabin was so clean and maintenance on the hot tub was amazing to know how much it was checked. The extra touches in the cabin was so thoughtful such as the butter and bread. We would definitely recommend and would return.
