  Absolutely fantastic location - the balcony really does overlook the bay and it is a short walk to the other, bigger beach. The walk into Mumbles is doable (maybe 20 minutes?) but a bit of a workout because it's such a hilly route. It's also incredibly close to the coastal path with its stunning views. The skylights in the kitchen and bathroom offer lots of natural light and ventilation in those rooms. There is a pole to open and close them. The bedroom is quite dark but not enough to be a problem. The furniture isn't very comfy but we were there to swim and walk, not to sit around! I'm guessing the sofabed is one of those ones that is more comfortable as a bed than as a sofa, but we didn't need to use it as a bed. My two biggest criticisms: 1. The lack of recycling facilities. There is just one black bin for everything. We took our recycling home but we shouldn't have had to do this. 2. The lack of kitchen/cleaning supplies. The kitchen just had one nearly-empty bottle of washing-up liquid and a used sponge. The blurb warns you to bring your own teatowels (why?) but it didn't warn us we'd also need to bring washing-up liquid, a new sponge, cleaning cloths and a spray, kitchen roll, tinfoil, etc. It's annoying having to go out and buy all this stuff when you've got loads at home! Overall, great value for money and what a brilliant location. Would definitely book again.

  We have been visiting the Gower for nearly 30 years now so we must have passed this quaint cottage hundreds of times without being aware of its existence as it is hidden behind a tall hedge, close to the main road. So you get a fair bit of noise from the traffic but we didn't notice it too much. It's located near to our favourite beaches so we didn't have to do a lot of driving during our stay and there are 3 walkable routes down to Three Cliffs bay. There is space to park just outside the cottage. The owners live close by so are on hand in the event of any problems. Fortunately we didn't require their assistance. The cottage has a spacious main room containing the kitchen area, a dining table, a sofa and a coffee table. A steep stairway takes you up to a mezzanine bedroom with a low ceiling. Our stay was during early summer but it was quite cool outside. The property warmed up quickly after the central heating was switched on. We had just about everything we needed to cook our own meals. There are quite a few local pubs we could have visited to eat out including the Gower Inn across the road but we brought quite a bit of food with us and there were local shops to stock up. An ideal cottage for a short couple.

  We were very disappointed by the state of the balcony area. When we arrived the windows looked like they had not been cleaned for a long time. The balcony floor was very dirty with algae and cigarette butts. A contractor arrived on Thursday to clean the walls. This was without any notice from yourselves. This meant that we had to stay in longer than we planned. This meant that we were not able to use the balcony for the rest of the day due to the chemical that he used. As part of his cleaning up he got rid of some of the algae. One of the main lights in the bedroom did not work and the glass cover was missing. It looked as if it had been in this condition for some time. Also one of the bulbs in the lounge stopped working (bulb broken. We look forward to your reply and payment of compensation for the above.   We found it very difficult to recycle our waste as per the instructions provided as there were only pink bags in the property (no black or green). Would have been nice to have had a bowl that could be used in the microwave (ie for porridge) and a tea pot for us tea drinkers. We would have been helpful to have been informed that the dish washer was not working before we arrived so we could have brought washing up liquid instead of dishwasher tablets with us. Having said all that the property was clean and tidy with great views across the bay. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

  Bathroom safety no handrails no slipmat sink not big enough to wash.Lighting inadequate in the dining room was so low you couldn't see to eat or read a book In the kitchen ceiling lights needed replacing to dark for safety.I reported this on Monday to local office they said it would be attended to nobody came round No bags available for laundry on departure.I would suggest you make it clear in your advertising if the location and you properties are suitable for elderly or disabled
