  The Old Bakery is the hidden gem of Newlyn. From booking to departure the whole holiday was stress free and we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in the house. From the pink front door to the underfloor heating in the bathroom, there have been no compromises with the refurbishment of this house. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is a dream and the cute little welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was well received upon arrival. The owners have gone above and beyond here and we loved our stay. They have literally thought of everything from a board games cupboard to cookbooks! The location is superb. There are shops, a chip shop, a pub and a little cafe to name a few places all within a couple of minutes stroll. We parked the car each night in the Duke St public car park which was free overnight from 4pm - 9am and was ideal for us. We would 100% recommend a stay at this property. It was a welcome retreat and we would return again without question! A well deserved 5 star review! Thank you!

  The property is well-equipped, very clean and spacious. The views are lovely and it is great to hear the sound of the sea. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. A small welcome pack was provided, containing a pint of milk, tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets. As previously mentioned, the water pressure isn't great. If you want a bath, be patient! It is worth noting, however, that the allocated parking space is tight. If you have a large vehicle it is likely to be tricky to manoeuvre in and out when the other spaces are occupied. The entrance to the property lacks "curb appeal". There was rubbish lying around outside, and the hallway and stairway decor is dated. The property description mentions use of a communal garden. There IS a patch of unkempt grass visible from the balcony, however there was no obvious access to this, and it wouldn't have been usable had we have found it anyway.

  Lovely located apartment on the top floor, beautifully clean and well presented with a stunning roof top patio. The parking space is literally 30 seconds away and it was easy enough to park up there and carry things back into the apartment to unpack. The parking space is small and a bit tricky to get into if cars have not parked perfectly in their spaces either side. Would recommend parking up and not moving the car if you can and using the bus and train as much as possible. Apartment is up 2 flights of stairs which are hand railed but fairly steep. The apartment is just as pictured and very clean warm and comfortable. It was too cold during our stay to use the rooftop patio but this was a lovely feature. Had a really enjoyable week and would recommend this apartment as a great central place to stay for those with no mobility difficulties. Great that there were no pets allowed too.

  We had a lovely stay and there is nothing to fault with the booking process (other than it felt strange to have no human/personal contact at all)or the quality of the cottage but the noise from the location of the cottage was not what we expected. The road is incredibly busy with cars speeding through Newlyn and due to the narrowness of the road we had cars pulling up onto the kerb right in front of the front door. Perhaps on your website you could have a section that highlighted aspects worth knowing about the property. The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of modern features which we enjoyed.

  This is a lovely Cottage in West Looe. The living area is lovely with a nice open plan kitchen and dining area. There is a lot to do and see in Looe. Lots of coffee shops and gift shops. The Sardine factory is a very nice restaurant close by. It was nice to be able to buy some fresh fish from Pengellys in Looe along with a good choice of food in the farm shop close by as well nice fish and chips. There is also a nice walk past the Sardine factory around the headland where we found two nice cafes. Looe is quite hilly so be prepared to walk up some steep hills and steps!
