East Leaze is a well-loved cottage in Chipping Campden, praised for its beautiful garden, well-equipped kitchen, and excellent location. Guests have enjoyed the property's charm, spaciousness, and thoughtful touches, such as a deli gift card. While some guests encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the majority found it to be a comfortable and welcoming home from home, ideal for exploring the Cotswolds.
Cleanliness received mixed feedback. Some guests reported the property as very clean, while others encountered issues with cleanliness, such as dirty floors and cobwebs. The presence of both positive and negative comments suggests that cleanliness is generally satisfactory, but there is room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for being close to the high street and within easy walking distance of local amenities. Guests appreciated the convenience for exploring Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds, contributing to a very high score in this category.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the home cosy. However, some guests mentioned issues such as a soft bed causing discomfort and the conservatory becoming too hot, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are mostly appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, there were several mentions of maintenance issues, such as a broken fridge door and a lack of a shower in one bathroom. The barbecue being locked away also impacted this score.
While guests mentioned thoughtful gestures like a deli gift card, there is not enough consistent information about such gifts being a regular offering to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. We had a lovely week at East Leaze. Beautiful garden that was an oasis of calm. Very well equipped house - kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Lovely and spacious. Our only comment is that the en-suite bathroom (which we didnât need to use) had a horrible smell of damp coming from it which did creep into the bedroom if the en-suite door was left open. Overall a really wonderful stay. Thank you.

Everything was exactly as described, incredibly clean and well equipped. The property was SO comfortable and the dogs really adored the outdoor space. We had one small issue with key box while there and the management company responded immediately and resolved the issue. Excellent customer service and will not hesitate to book this cottage again. The ONLY one downside is that parking on street can be a bit difficult (busy road and canât always get parked) but that was clearly stated on description so we were totally prepared. Overall an excellent break in a very comfortable and well located property.

The only issue is the parking and neighbours. We have a 3 year old and 4 month old, so do not feel comfortable loading them into the car on the road with traffic passing by. We momentarily parked the car on the drive and my husband got shouted at by the neighbours. In the end I had to walk the children down the road and load them into the car in another driveway. That was at the end of the holiday so we left on a slightly sour note. Apart from that we had a lovely time.
