The town on the Roman Fosse Way, which once saw huge sheep markets, is now a popular choice for shopping, dining out, and visiting attractions like the Cricket Museum, Hidcote Manor, Batsford Arboretum, and Chastleton House. For all its age and history, there is nothing stuffy about Stow.

Stow-on-the-Wold is the perfect place from which to explore the Cotswolds. You're only ten minutes from the Slaughters, 15-minutes from Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh, and Broadway, and less than half an hour from Chipping Campden and Bibury. Bath, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Kingham, Blenheim Palace, and Bicester Village are under an hour away for fantastic day trips. Local attractions include Chedworth Roman Villa, the Rollright Stone Circle, and Snowshill Manor. Families love the Model Village in Bourton, Adam Henson's Cotswolds Farm Park near Cheltenham, and Fairy Tale Farm. There are incredible footpaths, scenic cycling routes, and the opportunity to hire a vintage car and tour in fashion.
