  The location is excellent, with several good restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance.

  Photographs of the cottage did not unfortunately include one of the stairs, and had they done so I would not have booked it. The stairs twist as they ascend from the ground floor and then go up in a straight flight. There is a handrail, but owing to a small window on the stairs the handrail only begins when the stairs become a straight flight. For anyone with a mobility issue, the stairs could well prove difficult. The cottage was very clean, and comfortably furnished, but the second bedroom, which was for one person, did not have a wardrobe, and the only place to hang clothes was a few hooks on the back of the door. The rear garden is in several tiers, beautiful, and secure for a dog. There was a table and chairs on a paved area adjacent to the kitchen and another table and chairs on a paved area at the top of the garden. I booked this cottage in the expectation of having a relaxing break, but there were building noises from the adjacent cottage most of the week which made it impossible at times to stay indoors . A previous guest had written about building noises as far back as last December! It would have been reasonable I believe for the possibility of noise to have been mentioned in the description of the cottage.

  We had a great couple of days here, walking , sitting in the sun and generally enjoying the Cotswolds.   Amazing place right in the centre of town.

  Dover Hill is a nice 20 minutes walk away and very easy to get to. The town has everything you need in it. We booked on the basis of previous reviews and they were accurate down to a T. Bedroom is spacious, nice big bathroom and enough room in the living room for 2 by the fire. would have been quite cosey with 4 though I think. Firewood is available round the corner from the Co-op. The TV is a very good quality screen which is around 38 inches. It comes away from the wall so the pictures make it look more awkward than it is. Towels were a little small so if you like a big towel would suggest bringing your own, similarly only 1 toilet roll is provided so should definitely bring extra. Would definitely go back and it gets a well deserved 5 stars.

  The location was amazing. The amount of wildlife we saw from right outside the cottage was incredible. The cottage was comfortable, very roomy and felt really homely. The main shower leaked through the floor into the hallway downstairs. However Cotswolds Hideaways sent out a plumber the next working day and were very apologetic and kind throughout the process. Overall we would recommend the place as a quiet retreat!Other than having a couple of issues, we've had a wonderful time here. Its been fantastic being so surrounded by nature and seeing owls, deer,hares + birds of pray. Monster the cat was a lovely addition to our night time walks, we will miss his vocal welcome every time we exited the cottage! Overall a brilliant experience! 🙂

  A gem of a cottage. A beautiful cottage with all the necessary facilities in a wonderfully quiet location. Collecting the eggs in the morning was lovely. We did not want to leave and had a very pleasant stay here. We recommend visiting local towns and villages such as 'Broadway and all of the other chocolate box villages', there's lots to do. Eating at 'The Wild Rabbit' was very very nice and a trip to Daylesford Organic Farm is a must. Lots of history in St Michaels church up the road. Everything is a short drive or walk away, so very suitable e.g. Oxford isn't to far away. Thank you, we have really enjoyed our week here
