Newfield Apartment 2 in Broughton-in-Furness is praised for its excellent location, friendly staff, and the convenience of having an inn next door. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, the good food and beer, and the comfortable beds. The property is ideal for walking and exploring the Lakes, offering a restful retreat with a homely atmosphere.
Most guests found the apartment to be clean and well-maintained, though there were some concerns about grubby carpets and a grubby grill, which suggests room for improvement in cleanliness.

Guests generally find the apartment comfortable, mentioning super comfortable beds and a warm cottage feel. However, some noise from other guests was noted.
Facilities are deemed practical, with a warm shower and good food at the inn. However, issues with hot water and intermittent operation of the TV and Sky box indicate some maintenance is required.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Eskdale Green, a small village in the Lake District, is home to a few cottages, farm houses, and a number of excellent traditional English pubs that serve amazing food. Scafell - England's highest peak, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell, and Muncaster Fell are just some of the nearby peaks that can be seen from this great location, while the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale, Ennerdale, and Dunnerdale offer breath-taking and ever-changing scenery throughout the year. The valley is unique in the Lake District because it lacks its own lake, despite the presence of several tarns jutting out of the valley walls. In addition to Muncaster Castle and the World Owl Centre, there is a miniature railway running from Ravenglass to Eskdale, which is one of the most picturesque train rides you can imagine. Among the many well-known landmarks in this stunning area are the beautiful Wastwater, the country's deepest lake, and St Olaf's, the country's smallest church. This magnificent location will keep visitors coming back time and time again.

Our only issue were the people who stayed in the Apartment above were very heavy footed so sounded a lot like banging. A certain points we thought they were going to come through the ceiling. All in all though, we very much enjoyed our stay and loved that meal and drinks in the pub.

The attached pub is a real bonus all staff were super friendly and the food and beer were an added bonus.
