On the downside, having 1 parking place wasn't great but understand that parking in Grasmere is at a premium. I have stayed in a lot of rental properties and this is the first to have so little in regard to kitchen cooking 'basics'. We normally have a few tea bags, maybe milk, eggs, sugar and oil for cooking. Many places provide a lot more in this area and it is a great help if you arrive later in the day. All said, we loved it and would happily recommend it to others, a really cosy clean place and a great base for exploring.

It is the perfect base for our annual holiday in the Lakes. We will definitely be returning again next year.

Good to have a parking space included. Very well appointed, clean, warm and comfortable. We stayed with my 90 year old mother and she was always warm enough even though it was only 6 degrees outside. Lovely views with windows on 3 sides. I had to be aware not to bump my head on the eaves in the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bed is only a double, not a king which we are used to. Also all of the beds need new mattresses.
