Robin View Lodge in Windermere is highly praised for its stunning location and the added luxury of a hot tub. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the tranquillity of the park, and the convenience of having a pub on-site. While some guests have noted issues with maintenance and cleanliness, the overall experience is one of comfort and relaxation, with many looking forward to returning.
Most guests found the lodge clean and comfortable, though there were a few instances of cleanliness concerns such as dog prints and a report of a damp odour in one of the bedrooms. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.
The lodge's location is consistently lauded for its beauty and tranquillity. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the park's picturesque setting, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District.
Guests generally find the lodge comfortable, with a homely feel and cosy atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned that the lodge could be cramped for larger parties and that the bedding could be improved for a better night's sleep.
The hot tub is a highlight for many guests, though there are comments about maintenance issues such as a broken door handle and worn kitchen units. The park's facilities, including the pub, are well-received.
While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, they have noted thoughtful touches like the provision of a Christmas tree. However, there is not enough information to score this category accurately.

Unfortunately the negativeâs were far moreâ¦. In a nutshell the lodge needs a FULL refurbishment, itâs in dreadful condition. Having read some of the reviews before we went I was rather concerned but thought that surly the problems would have been sorted , how wrong was I. No legâs on one of the setteeâs is absolutely unacceptable as was the mould in the shower/bath, kitchen units fully scratched, sliding wardrobe didnât work , my husband had to fix it! . Obviously the previous reviews have NOT been taken into consideration. Itâs such a shame because it could be lovely if refurbishment were to happen. We Will not return .

Having the hot tub was great and this was well maintained. Had a lovely stay here and would recommend this to anyone thinking of a holiday here. The park grounds were also well looked after.

Scrapes everywhere, chipped cups, door handle in bathroom broken, mould in bath around the nonslip stickers.
