Guests are delighted with 4 Tyne View, praising its beautiful setting, cosy comfort, and well-equipped nature. The cottage's cleanliness and thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, are frequently mentioned, alongside the stunning views and friendly local community. It's an ideal spot for peaceful walks and experiencing local wildlife, with many expressing a desire to return.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotless and well-presented. However, one review mentioned that the kitchen and bathroom were not very clean upon arrival, which slightly impacts the overall score.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to local amenities and walking paths. The views of the River Tyne and the friendly village atmosphere contribute to the high score.
Guests consistently note the cottage's comfort, mentioning the cosy central heating, comfortable beds, and peaceful environment conducive to a good night's sleep.
The property is described as well-equipped with a notable kitchen, though there were minor issues with TV reception and a lack of a vacuum cleaner and hair dryer mentioned. The excellent Wi-Fi and ample hot water are positives.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the welcome gifts and prompt responses to queries. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.

The cottage has everything you need to make your stay feel homely and comfortable. The village of Wark is a beautiful setting and everyone we met were so friendly. A huge thanks to the owners for getting the cottage ready for us a short notice we really appreciated it.
Linda
Good views and with local shop and pubs. Lots to do in the area. There could have been a little more information about the TV and recycling and a bit deceiving about the gravelled area and not as clean as would expect but on the whole very comfortable and we had a lovely week. Thank you.
John
Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to explore this area. And being Dog friendly was a big bonus for the the 3 of us. Thanks again Geoff & Alison
