1) location needs to be explained clearer. It is up a very steep hill which is a tough walk. 2) not dog friendly location. There is nowhere near by to let the dog go to the toilet. The steps are very steep which we found difficult for the dog. 3) bed in first bedroom near to entrance was hard and felt that springs were felt when turned in the bed. 4) the apartment was very clean and well equipped. Once in there it was a real pleasure to stay with a stunning view (once up the hill) 5) good communication by original cottages texts and email appreciated.

I have emailed already this week regarding maintenance and cleanliness issues, but to summarise: Tiny black dog hairs over furnishings, Shower over bath not working (obviously broken for a while), Dishwasher seal had come off so couldn't use, Kitchen blind would not pull down so no privacy, No welcome pack, no egg cups. Open toilet brushes and a body buffer/loofah stuck in the bath - yeuck!

Spacious property throughout, with great views over the town and river. Plenty of space for four adults. 28 steps up to the front door keeps you fit, as does the hill up from the town. Great pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep.
