Nailsea, in the county of Somerset, is a lovely town that sits between Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. In the 18th century, Nailsea was one of the largest glass bottle producers in the United Kingdom, and its famous 'Nailsea' glass is still highly sought after by collectors all over the world. The town now has many shops and pubs, such as the Royal Oak and the Moorend Spout, both of which are great options if you're looking for a break from cooking. Tyntesfield, a National Trust property on the outskirts of town, is worth a visit for its stunning Gothic Revival–style Victorian country house and its equally impressive gardens and arboretum. Or, you could head to the coast and enjoy a meal at the Japanese pagoda and glass restaurant that have been lovingly restored on the Clevedon Pier, which was originally built in 1869. Bristol, a historic city on both sides of the River Avon, offers a wide variety of tourist attractions, from a fun aquarium to a museum devoted to history and art, while Weston-super-Mare, to the west, features the classic amusements of a seaside resort, in addition to a water park and beautiful stretches of golden sand. From Nailsea, see all there is to see in Somerset.

It is adequate for two people, nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and a good walk-in shower with plenty of hot water.. the only thing to note is that, as described in the details, there is a set of steps leading down to the property which people with mobility issues need to consider. This property is ideally suited to visiting Bristol using the park and ride a few miles down the road, the sunsets over Clevedon were spectacular!!! .. National trust property Tynesfield is a lovely place to visit with the Dahlias being stunning at this time of year. We would certainly stay in this property again.

Great place to cycle from - we only used the car one morning. The rest of the week we either cycled, walked or caught the bus. A great find.
