Guests consistently praise Fig Trees - Wibble Farm for its spaciousness, comfort, and peaceful surroundings. The property's location in Somerset offers beautiful views and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, with easy access to local attractions. The accommodation is well-furnished and the hosts are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. Some guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of wine.
The majority of reviews reflect a high level of cleanliness, with guests describing the property as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. There is a single mention of cooking utensils needing replacement, suggesting a minor issue that does not significantly impact the overall cleanliness.
The property is appreciated for its quiet and peaceful setting, with lovely gardens and proximity to the North Somerset coastline and Devon. It is described as an excellent base for exploring the area, although one review mentioned the lack of accessible walks without driving.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the accommodation spacious and well-furnished. However, there are a few remarks about the softness of the mattress and the radiators needing bleeding, which suggests room for improvement in ensuring a universally comfortable experience.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property described as well-equipped. However, some guests noted the lack of cleaning materials, ice-making facilities, and a washing machine. These comments indicate that while the facilities are good, there is potential for enhancement.
While guests have mentioned a welcome bottle of wine and the provision of milk and other helpful items, there are not enough references to specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, it is important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This was our second visit to the property, and just like before, it was clean, welcoming and so warm and cosy in what ended up being a very cold week. The kitchen had everything that we needed for a week away. We were down in Somerset visiting family and friends and it was a perfect base. Thank you! Hope to come again.

It's location is well suited to visit all the lovely places that Somerset has to offer. If you don't fancy self catering there are lovely places around to enjoy a meal.

Quality fixtures. Friendly owner. Peaceful environment. Saw a red deer on the lawn one morning. Need to be careful when exiting the drive on to the main road.
