About this property

Why choose between the coast and the countryside when you can enjoy both from the comfort of Easton View? This modern holiday cottage is three miles from Bridlington and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast and within easy reach of the Yorkshire Wolds and Howardian Hills AONB. Days out can be spent at the beach, admiring the splendour of Castle Howard, shopping and sightseeing in York, or admiring breathtaking views from the coastal footpath. The three-bedroom self-catering cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. It's ideal for couples or families.

Easton View is a modern holiday home in a timeless rural setting on the cusp of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and a short drive from Bridlington seafront and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. The three-bedroom house can sleep four adults or two adults and two children, with the main bedroom offering gorgeous views over neighbouring fields. It's well-equipped for family self-catering, and there's a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and takeaways in Bridlington if you don't want to cook. Why choose between the beach or the countryside when you can have both?

Bridlington has lots of offer visitors all year round. The popular seaside resort has a beautiful beach and a busy harbour with regular sightseeing and fishing boat tours. It's easy to while away an hour or so, sitting happily as you protect your fish and chips from hopeful seagulls and watch the comings and goings of the harbour. Like all of the best harbour towns, Bridlington has an "old town" with a quaint High Street lined with Georgian shopfronts housing independent businesses. Once you've browsed the shops and boosted your energy with ice cream, head for the coastal footpath to enjoy spectacular views. This stretch of coastline is home to the rspb reserve at Bempton Cliffs, where a vast array of seabirds thrive.

Local attractions include Sewerby Hall and Gardens, the Bondville Model Village, and the Bridlington Animal Park. Go north to Flamborough Headland, Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hood's Bay. Historic York is just over an hour's drive from Easton View (though we recommend the park and ride from either Grimston Bar or Monks Cross), with lots to see and do. Castle Howard is also about an hour away and a fantastic choice for a day out. Bring your bike or hiking boots to explore the Howardian Hills or take advantage of the wealth of footpaths and cycling routes accessible from Bridlington, including a path through the Yorkshire Wolds to Malton.

Guests who have stayed at Easton View love the space, the high standard of comfort and thoughtful touches, and its proximity to the coast and countryside. Although it has the capacity for five guests, the maximum occupancy is four.
