The Emberton is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location near the beach. Guests have enjoyed the spaciousness, the well-equipped kitchen, and the secure garden, making it ideal for families and pets. The property's Art Deco style and sea views add to its charm. While some maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently describe The Emberton as clean and well-kept, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. One review mentioned a filthy washing machine, but this seems to be an isolated incident rather than a common concern.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and scenic views, with many guests appreciating the easy access to beach walks and local amenities. The sea views and peaceful surroundings contribute to the high rating.
The property is frequently described as comfortable and spacious, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned issues with the showers and a need for grab rails, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
While the property is generally well-equipped, several reviews point out maintenance issues such as the kitchen floor, shower problems, and garden upkeep. These concerns suggest that while the facilities are good, they could benefit from attention to detail.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The back garden is a real highlight, featuring a large table with plenty of seatingâperfect for soaking up the sun. Itâs nicely sheltered by trees, too, which helps block out the wind. Inside, the place feels modern, especially the kitchen, which is really impressive. Everything was spotless, and the owners have clearly invested in top-quality beds, bedding, and pillowsâmaking a huge difference for a comfortable night's sleep. The location is hard to beat, right on the beachfront and just a 20-minute walk to Bridlington town center. Highly recommended!

We had to leave this wonderful place, perfectly set in between the (frankly) tacky town centre and the marvellous peaceful cliff top walk it couldnât go wrong. The beautiful preserved art deco exterior made the house stand out, (we expected Poirot to amble in at any time) yet the interior had every modern convenience. We could want for almost nothing. The only improvement I would like to see would be the installation of an EV charger, luckily they could be found minutes away on the sea front. We loved it!!!
