Guests say

Perriwinkle is an apartment in Filey that offers a mix of experiences. Guests appreciate its excellent location within the Bay resort, close to amenities and the beach. While some guests found the apartment clean and well-equipped, others noted areas needing improvement. The property has potential, but feedback suggests that attention to detail and maintenance could enhance the overall experience.

Reviews indicate a range of experiences with cleanliness. Some guests arrived to a clean apartment, while others reported issues such as unclean ovens and dusty blinds. The inconsistency leads to a below-average score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, pub, shop, and swimming pool. The Bay resort is appreciated for its amenities and the ease of accessing East Coast activities, contributing to a high score.

Comfort has been a concern for several guests, with complaints about the quality of mattresses, sofas, and general furniture. The lack of comfort has affected the quality of stay, resulting in a low score.

Facilities and maintenance have received mixed feedback. Positive comments about on-site facilities contrast with reports of maintenance issues such as broken blinds and rusty radiators. The need for improvements affects the score.

There is insufficient information regarding the presence of thoughtful touches such as gifts. While some guests mentioned a lack of welcome packs, it is not clear if this is a standard offering. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

As soon as we entered we were shocked by the mess on the floor and then we started looking further. Sorry to say this, but this is not rentable in this way, it is because we were visiting family in England, otherwise we would have left immediately. Showers are filthy, even with hair (the bath even has a crack in it), you won't find an oven dirtier, sun blinds covered in dust, even the dining table was covered in dust. In the cupboards even dirty attributes and a brochure from 2019 (indicates that this is purely about money). When we see what our son had, a whole house, everything neat and clean, more facilities and the rent cheaper than yours. Then the peace and quiet in the apartment, renting upstairs with children is a complete mockery. Audible until late at night (01:00 am) and again in the morning at 07:00 am making noise. Yes, even later in the week with 2 girls and their scooter through the house. Nearby neighbors with 3 dogs that were constantly barking and the lady quietly stood in front of our windows to make the phone call. I have never been so happy to go home. That's why I wish you the best of luck in becoming a millionaire in this unmanageable way. I'm angry, disappointed and tired, but I know I NEVER want this again! Too much money (£626.00) for something like that.

There was a grill pan inside the oven that had been used but not cleaned. Radiator near kitchen was dirty and bottom of radiator in en-suite was either dirty or very rusty. Stayed at The Bay several times in different properties but this was the most disappointing.
