Guests say

Cliff Head Cottage in Robin Hood's Bay is highly praised for its stunning sea views, cosy and comfortable atmosphere, and excellent location close to local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, including the kitchen and shower facilities, and the unique bonus of a parking space. The cottage's charm and character, along with thoughtful touches like welcome goodies, contribute to a memorable stay. While some minor maintenance issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as immaculate, with only a few minor comments about cobwebs and dust, which are understandable given the property's age. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stays.

The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with guests loving the proximity to the sea, beach, pubs, and local attractions. The convenience of a parking space, despite the seagulls, is also greatly appreciated.

The cottage is repeatedly referred to as cosy and comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and a well-received open fire. Some guests mention the bed and mattress could be reviewed, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-appointed kitchen and reliable WiFi. However, some guests note areas that appear 'tired' and minor maintenance issues like a leaky tap and a non-functioning TV, suggesting room for improvement.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the provision of welcome treats and essentials like milk, which guests find delightful. While these extras are much appreciated, it is noted that such gestures are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

I've stayed in several cottages in Robin Hoods Bay. This cottage has everything, the views are amazing, the car parking space makes life a lot easier. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything I needed. I was really impressed with the shower room it was clean and the shower had good pressure (theres a good view from the loo as well). I wish it had been cool enough to light the fire. A fantastic cottage and I booked for next year as I was staying there.

A lovely cottage with great views and location with plenty of choice for eating and drinking out and a nearby store. A great base for walking from or visiting further afield.
