Guests say

Bryn Ogwen is a well-received holiday cottage with stunning views and a comfortable, well-equipped interior. Guests have praised its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and the quality of the kitchen. The property's location is ideal for exploring Snowdonia and nearby attractions. However, some guests noted challenges with the steep, narrow driveway and limited seating in the living area.

Guests generally found the property to be clean and tidy, with only one mention of it being 'acceptably clean', suggesting a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The property is appreciated for its incredible views and proximity to local attractions, though one review mentioned Bangor having limited activities, slightly affecting the score.

The property is described as comfortable with comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests found the driveway and heavy doors to be inconvenient, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the kitchen, but some guests experienced issues with parking, heavy doors, and seating for larger groups, indicating room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this score cannot be provided.

It was perfect for a group of us who were celebrating 50 years since we started at Bangor Uni. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The showers were all good. The views were spectacular and it was lovely being so close to the pier and the Straits. All in all an excellent stay. The internet was not working when we arrived but was soon sorted by Sykes - thank you very much. One or two other minor issues which we shared with Sykes but nothing to spoil the stay. Would highly recommend. One suggestion would be that the facilities for recycling would be provided. We haven’t stayed anywhere before where this isn’t the case.

The house was is in a great position overlooking the pier and the telescope was a great touch and was used by all looking out to sea and to Anglesey. We also like the fact you are situated where most places we wanted to go to were all under an hour. It was the perfect place to introduce my grandsons to their great nanas homeland. Their verdict is “we love Wales”
