The Lodge in Morfa Nefyn is highly praised for its secluded location, cleanliness, and comfort, with many guests planning to return. The hot tub is a standout feature, offering relaxation under the stars. The property's tranquility and proximity to the coast make it ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is one of a well-equipped, cosy getaway in a beautiful setting.
Most guests found The Lodge to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few reports of cobwebs and garden upkeep needed. The positive remarks on cleanliness far outweigh the negatives, indicating a generally high standard.
The Lodge is appreciated for its quiet, secluded setting and proximity to local attractions and beaches. Some guests noted the presence of a nearby main road, but this did not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.
Guests frequently mention the comfort of The Lodge, highlighting the cosy log burner, comfortable beds, and spacious rooms. A few guests noted issues with a sagging bed and the need for better garden furniture, but these comments are relatively rare.
The Lodge's facilities, especially the hot tub, are generally praised. However, some guests reported issues with kitchen equipment, fridge size, and a lack of instructions for various amenities. Maintenance of the garden and hot tub service were also points of concern for a few.
While guests have mentioned a generous welcome gift and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, there are not enough consistent references to specific thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It's important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Miss Hagger
We had a lovely time on our holiday at lodge. We visited barmouth beach, black rock sands and drove to Angel bay to see the seals! The property is lacking on a few things but was warm and comfortable (apart from the bed). The hot tub was a nice luxury and after walking all day helped with aching muscles.

Poor value for money, some of the furnishings need replacing with a miss match of styles thrown together and poor quality. Dirty dishes. Most of the garden chairs are broken. Fridge is broken and leaks. Cleaners turned up an hour after check in. Didn't risk using the hot tub. Gardens needs a good clearing and cutting back. Would not return nor recommend.

An extremely disappointing property, given the price. It seems in need of some TLC, and the attention to cleaning needs improving; there were masses of cobwebs and spiders, especially noticeable if one moved any furniture. We never even considered using the hot tub! Also there were no instructions, for anything! The internet is shocking, very, very slow and intermittent; I notice that the property description on the site now highlights that this is slow (which I'm sure it didn't when I booked), but it is virtually non existent. The images on the site portray a light and airy environment; in truth it is dark and hemmed in. The dense foliage, whilst providing noise dampening from the main road, does mean that it is not possible to even see what the weather is doing (other than rain). Also given that the two patio door windows in the lounge are single glazed, I wouldn't fancy being here in winter. Overall the property wasn't what I would call cosy or comfortable, especially the sagging main bed!
