Guests are consistently delighted with their stays at Trefnant Hall, praising its stunning views, beautiful decor, and welcoming atmosphere. The property's cleanliness, comfort, and facilities, including the hot tub, receive high commendations. The thoughtful touches by the owners, such as welcome packs, add to the charm of this rural retreat.
Reviews frequently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and well-maintained. The presence of occasional natural elements like spiders is noted, which is typical for rural properties and does not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and peacefulness, with proximity to Welshpool and local attractions like Powis Castle. The rural setting on a hill provides a tranquil escape, though the remoteness and access via single lane roads are noted.
Guests find the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy living areas, well-sized bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The historic charm adds to the comfort, although the lack of a ground floor toilet is a slight inconvenience for some.
The facilities, especially the hot tub, are a highlight for many guests. The well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathrooms are appreciated. Some minor issues with the dishwasher and WiFi are mentioned, but these do not significantly impact the overall positive feedback on the property's amenities.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs and gifts such as scones, wine, and champagne. While these gestures are highly appreciated and contribute to the guests' enjoyment, it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We had a lovely time here, the views from the house were spectacular and we really enjoyed using the hot tub. Enjoyed exploring the surrounding villages and towns including Montgomery and Shrewsbury. Lovely returning to the comfortable lounge/kitchen to cook supplies from the village butchers and light the log burner. Thank you for the logs! Also a great place to bring our dogs. We hope to visit again.

A beautiful house and stunning views from all the bedrooms, one thing to bear in mind is you do share the outside space with the cottage which is also rented out, which we weren’t aware of, however we had a fantastic family time. There were 5 off us, myself and husband, my son and his little family, who have never been with little 2 year old, she absolutely loved her holiday and enjoyed being in the hot tub.
