  We absolutely loved this cottage, probably the best we've stayed in. There were a few treats for when we arrived which was lovely. Our highlight of the cottage was the garden which was beautiful and especially the summer house at the end of the garden. We had lovely weather so spent quite a bit of time in the garden which was very peaceful and relaxing. The village is fairly close to Halesworth which is great for local shops and Southwold for the coast. The local pub the Star Inn does great food and ales and the owners were very welcoming. We didn't have to travel far for everything we wanted to do which was another highlight. I would definitely recommend

  This is our second visit to the property.

  Easy parking on the street outside. House is very comfortable and spacious. Nice garden and, because we had glorious weather, great for a barbecue or two. The area is very quiet being on the outskirts of town overlooking the marshes. The town centre is 10 minutes walk away (aim for the church). Walberswick is a nice 1.5 mile easy walk. Two great pubs there. Take the path past the old railway station and keep heading straight until you get to the bridge. Also went out to Dunwich, which also has some good walks and another very good pub. Recommend staying in this property if you are in Southwold.

  We loved this quirky cottage and its position. The bed is amazing - huge and comfortable. All the plumbing is new and high quality. The kitchen is mostly well equipped and the electric goods are excellent. A perfect hideaway very close to the beach and bakery, restaurants etc. and very quiet. If you have mobility problems this cottage might not be for you as access to the first and second floor is via very narrow steep and winding stairs. We would describe this cottage as stylish, characterful, well positioned and cosy.

  A lovely cottage, beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished and equipped. Although small, it is very comfortable especially for two. The garden is fabulous with a comfortable garden room. For dog owners the path from the back gate to the common at the rear of the terrace was perfect for a short walk at the beginning and end of the day. We found the walking in Dunwich forest particularly attractive. Wenhaston is well located for visiting the high spots of Suffolk.

  Excellent fully enclosed secure garden for the dog, with a walk from the doorstep. This (and a dishwasher) was top of my priority list. Beds were very comfortable and it was great that the singles made a zip king. My well over 6ft son had a bump or two on the head going from lounge to kitchen and had to bend his knees a bit when using the in bath shower but at 5ft 8 I had no problems. The location was great, a lovely quiet village and the neighbour was very friendly.
