  Charming cottage for 2 in beautiful countryside a couple of miles outside of Stow.

  Host Charles greeted us upon arrival, very nice gentleman, & Saphie, who is lovely & helpful, put up with my silly questions & looked after us during our stay. Cottage is set out very well, is properly equipped & looks out over sheep & horse paddocks. Only thing we would add would be a full length mirror maybe inside the wardrobe door. We enjoyed going to see Nina, the horse currently in the paddock outside, she was very friendly, especially when you took her an apple or 2. It is nice just wandering around the fields outside the cottage or there are plenty of walks in the area, my favourite being to Donnington Brewery about 2 miles away

  Extremely comfortable, well appointed property and ideally located.

  The host Charles was very accommodating and very personable. To enhance the property to excellent status I would like to recommend the following; 1. The purchase of a washing up bowl as this would save a lot of water. 2. The purchase of a pair of tongs, especially when grilling bacon! 3. The purchase of a pastry brush! The only concern I had was the booking in time at 1800hrs which is far from ideal especially when travelling a long distance and requiring time to prepare dinner. All the properties my wife and I have booked over many years previously have had a booking in time of 1600hrs.

  This place was amazing!

  As long as you can do stairs, this is the place for you. It is up one flight of stairs for the main sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms are up one more floor. We were there in November and it was warm and simply lovely. There is a sandwich shop straight across the street. And the only noise is the church bells which we loved. You enter the property from the back of the building in a little ally. Very private and charming. If you are wondering if this is the place for you, it is! The location could not be better. All of Stow just steps away.

  This was our first holiday at Flagstaff Cottage and we are sure it wont be our last.

  Everything was spotlessly clean, well furnished, light and airy, and above all is in a wonderful location. The peace & tranquility was just what we needed, but also within easy reach of so many wonderful places to visit. Charles was a most charming host & nothing was to much trouble for him to make sure our stay was comfortable. "Thank you" Charles and "Thankyou" to your housekeeping team too.   Perfect, ALMOST.

  Presentation of property & location were just great. We would stay again; however a ceiling light above the W/C hung out and I had to refit it. Water pressure is very good, but the W/C flush is dreadful & has a Cistern fault. The outside alleyway entrance is plastered with Pidgeon mess which is a health issue, but could be minimised with a stiff brush and bucket of disinfectant when handover cleaning takes place. A cheese grater would also be a good addition.
