The view of the marshes was not as visible as I expected. You could only see them if standing/sitting on the balcony facing sideways. This was disappointing. I would have liked a bit more information regarding how to control the heating. It was too hot but given that the heating was using night storage heaters I was worried to alter the settings or turn them off. Eventually I turned one off completely, which was not ideal. The kitchen was not equipped with serving spoons, which was awkward. Also there were no lids to the casseroles. This restricted what I could cook. Otherwise, all as expected.

More comfortable sofa and chair in living room. Balcony needs attention. No window in bedroom and no fan provided, extremely hot room at night. Glasses and plates in cupboard had a film of dust on them. Stay affected by building work next door. Worker was there on a Sunday despite assurance that the work would be Monday to Friday and although the work was mainly indoors because there were no windows noise could be clearly heard. View from balcony was of an over flowing skip and a workers toilet.

The small apartment had a light, airy feel to it, having a balcony to sit outside extended the feeling of space. Arriving after 4pm on a February evening the outside light had thoughtfully been put on as well as the heating so it was very warm and welcoming. It is conveniently located close to all the amenities in the High Street as well as the beach and having parking for one car was also a bonus. Perfect for a relaxed few days away
