  Lovely cottage and perfect location (Thorpeness is lovely) - near nearby Aldeburgh, the beach and the local pub and dog walking ideal.

  Facilities on the whole very good but the "open fire" on one listing wasnt there - disappointing. The snug where the only TV (very small) is located is probably the sleeping for the 6th person? - not possible for 4 of us adults & dog to sit and watch tv - I know if you are on holiday you are out most of the time but at night (winter) when temperatures drop it would be nice to watch together some Christmas stuff/movie but impossible. The large dining/seating/Christmas tree area would have been so much more appropriate and comfortable and obvious with a more appropriate sized TV??? The heating was a little hit and miss and didn't come on when the temperature dropped. Didnt try to mess with that!

  A well equipt house,very comfortable.

  While we were there we had a 3 hour Power Cut over meal time. The property handbook stated there was a torch,but no details where it was located. We never did find it? We did find 3 and a half candles,but nothing to put them in. Fortunately we did have a gas hob, but very tricky to use it. This situation needsto be improved. Overall we we enjoyed our stay at Corner Cottage very much, but the poor weather meant we were not able tosit in the lovely garden, Derek Miles

  It wasn’t quite the week we had planned as we all had covid so our movements were v restricted and we were in the house far more than we expected.

  Our only negative was the Television- usually this wouldn’t have featured as we don’t go away to watch TV! On this occasion we would have welcomed a TV that was larger. The variety of games was brilliant. We stay in Suffolk twice a year and truly love Aldeburgh & Thorpeness. Unfortunately no visits to Southwold or The Lighthouse this time.

  Corner Cottage is in a most convenient location and we particularly appreciated the very well maintained garden with plenty of furniture and BBQ on sunny days.

  The property was quite spacious with comfy beds, good quality linen/towels and excellent kitchen. Given the weather in our 1st week was cold and wet we would have appreciated a TV in the lounge, rather than the snug, as the settee in the snug in not that comfortable. However, that would not put us off from a return visit.

  Pleasant house with many good features- lovely thick towels; heated towel rails; good showers; good quality bedding.

  Well equipped kitchen. quiet location. Nice to come back to. Lovely garden. The upholstery needed a shampoo as smelt very slightly unfresh. Cushion covers on the sofas needed washing. Residue of food on one One or 2 minor repairs needed- knob on a chest of drawers; soap dispenser. But enjoyed our week very much
