We had a super time at Tigh-na-Mara, it’s a great cottage, a hop skip & jump from the beach and 5 minutes to the harbour square. For our four legged member, perfect enclosed patio (escape proof) & enclosed kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, has the option of a bath or shower, very cosy and possibly the best holiday cottage bed for comfort we’ve stayed in. It was fabulous to hear the sea lying in bed. We relaxed very quickly and would love to return. Porthleven is a lovely quaint fishing port. One helpful point for future visitors is the parking, the space is not a problem but on exiting, there are often parked vehicles opposite. My husband managed to negotiate his L200 out but with care. This is not a complaint or to put people off, just the heads up. There’s also plenty to do in Porthleven that you don’t need to leave. Happy holidays if you choose here.

Guillemot Holiday Cottage is absolutely fabulous, beautifully decorated, comfortable, bathroom is stunning, as were the sea views.
It has every facility you could possibly want, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, cooker, ironing board and iron, hair dryers, so no need to take anything with you apart from beach towels and anything you might need for your dog (if taking one). Lovely coastal walks (that go on for miles) and beaches left and right of the property and very close to other places you might wish to visit in Cornwall. Holly, the property manager, was very nice and helpful, even left us some fresh milk and muffins and we had a very nice e-mail from the property owner before we went, to say that he hopes we have a great holiday, that was a nice touch. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to family, friends and work colleagues. Will definitely book this cottage again. 5 Stars!

Guillemot is a very comfortable and well presented property.
It was clean, warm and inviting with everything that we needed and more on site. The property is ideally situated for summer visits with Crantock and Poly Joke beaches in short walking distance. Walkers have direct access to the Southweat coast path and dogs are welcome at Guillemot. Photographers might like to checkout the textured cliffs and may be lucky enough to find some seals resting on one of the inlets. The Old Albion Inn at Crantock offers a warm welcome, quality food and is a short drive away from the property. Visitors would be wise to view the comments on a well known website regarding the nearest establishment.

We were able to check in very early which was greatly appreciated.
The patio gate was removed for repair the day we arrived and was replaced by a rusted temporary stair gate. It rained a lot which showed up leaking gutters and a disconnected down pipe on the adjacent property, Cormorant. The security system controls are sited, unlabelled, right by the bathroom under floor heating controls and were mistakenly fiddled with, causing mayhem! We couldnât find any instructions for the cooker. Sleeps four but would be very cramped for four adults. West Pentire is a lovely, quiet area, ideal for coastal walks and there are two good eateries close by.

What a perfect holiday cottage!
The property is beautifully presented, extremely clean and amazingly kitted out with everything you could need! It is in a wonderful location between Polly Joke Beach and Crantock Beach - both dog friendly and has stunning views of the sea and Goose Rock. Although it does not have a grassed area at the rear, it does have a lovely patio and there is plenty of grass for doggy friends at the front on the coastal path. Holly, the host, was extremely helpful and answered any queries with great efficiency. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay there again!
